This document gives guidance on the use of regrinds and recycled materials for thermoplastic parts for aerospace use.
This document does not apply to reinforced thermoplastic materials, such as short fibre-reinforced plastics, due to their distinct processing characteristics, material degradation concerns, and stringent aerospace performance requirements.
The intended manufacturing processes for these virgin/regrind blends include standard thermoplastic methods such as injection moulding, extrusion, and blow moulding, among others as appropriate to the application.

Dieses Dokument gibt Leitlinien für die Verwendung von Regranulaten und Rezyklaten für thermoplastische
Teile zur Anwendung in der Luft- und Raumfahrt.
Dieses Dokument ist nicht anwendbar für verstärkte thermoplastische Werkstoffe wie z. B. kurzfaserverstärkte
Kunststoffe, aufgrund ihrer besonderen Verarbeitungseigenschaften, der Bedenken hinsichtlich der Werkstoffdegradation
und der strengen Leistungsanforderungen in der Luft- und Raumfahrt.
Zu den vorgesehenen Herstellungsverfahren für diese Mischungen aus Reinwerkstoff und Regranulat gehören
Standard-Thermoplastverfahren wie u. a. Spritzgießen, Extrusion und Blasformen, die für die jeweilige Anwendung
geeignet sind.

Le présent document donne des lignes directrices sur l’utilisation de matériaux rebroyés et recyclés dans les pièces thermoplastiques pour les applications aérospatiales.
Ce document ne s'applique pas aux matériaux thermoplastiques renforcés, tels que les plastiques renforcés de fibres courtes, en raison de leurs caractéristiques de traitement distinctes, des préoccupations liées à la dégradation des matériaux et des exigences strictes en matière de performances aérospatiales.
Les procédés de fabrication prévus pour ces mélanges vierges/rebroyés comprennent les méthodes thermoplastiques standard telles que le moulage par injection, l'extrusion et le moulage par soufflage, entre autres, selon l'application.
