Plastics piping systems - Injection-moulded thermoplastics fittings, valves and ancillary equipment - Determination of the long-term hydrostatic strength of thermoplastics materials for injection moulding of piping components

This standard specifies methods for preparing tubular test pieces for testing thermoplastics materials used for injection moulding to evaluate the long-term resistance to constant internal water pressure at constant temperature and to check the material hydrostatic strength.

Diese Norm legt Verfahren für die Vorbereitung rohrförmiger Probekörper zur Prüfung thermoplastischer Werkstoffe fest, die im Spritzgießverfahren eingesetzt werden. Die Prüfung dient der Beurteilung des Zeitstand- Innendruckverhaltens bei konstanter Temperatur und der Überprüfung der Werkstoff-Festigkeit.

La présente norme spécifie des méthodes de préparation des éprouvettes tubulaires pour l'essai des matières thermoplastiques destinées au moulage par injection. L'essai sert à évaluer leur résistance à long terme à une pression d'eau interne constante, à température constante et à contrôler la résistance hydrostatique de la matière.
