Flexible sheets for waterproofing - Determination of shear resistance of joints - Part 2: Plastic and rubber sheets for roof waterproofing

This European Standard specifies a method for determining the resistance to shearing of joints between two adjacent sheets of the same plastic or rubber sheets for roof waterproofing.
NOTE   The shearing characteristics of a joint between two widths of plastic or rubber sheets vary considerably depending on the material, method of jointing, the size of the overlap and the workmanship.

Abdichtungsbahnen - Bestimmung des Scherwiderstandes der Fügenähte - Teil 2: Kunststoff- und Elastomerbahnen für Dachabdichtungen

Diese Europäische Norm legt ein Verfahren zur Bestimmung des Scherwiderstands der Fügenähte zwischen zwei benachbarten Dachabdichtungsbahnen fest, die aus dem gleichen Kunststoff oder Elastomer bestehen.
ANMERKUNG   Die Scherkennwerte einer Fügenaht zwischen zwei Kunststoff  oder Elastomerbahnen unterscheiden sich merklich in Abhängigkeit von Werkstoff, Fügeverfahren, Größe der Überlappung und Art der Arbeitsausführung.

La présente Norme européenne décrit une méthode pour la détermination de la résistance au cisaillement des joints formés entre deux feuilles attenantes, constituées du même type de feuilles plastiques ou élastomères pour l'étanchéité de toiture.
NOTE   Les caractéristiques de cisaillement d’un joint entre deux feuilles plastiques ou élastomères varient de manière considérable selon le matériau, la méthode de jonction utilisée, les dimensions du recouvrement et la main d'oeuvre.
