Non-domestic storage furniture - Requirements for safety, strength, durability and stability

This European Standard specifies requirements for the safety, strength, durability and stability for all types of non-domestic storage furniture.
It does not apply to domestic storage, office storage, industrial storage, kitchen, catering equipment, retail storage and industrial storage lockers.
Requirements for strength and durability do not apply to the structure of the building for example the strength of wall hanging cabinets includes only the cabinets and the parts used for attachment. The wall and the wall attachments are not included.
It does not include requirements for the resistance to ageing, degradation and flammability.

Behältnismöbel für den Nicht-Wohnbereich - Anforderungen an die Sicherheit, Festigkeit, Dauerhaltbarkeit und Standsicherheit

Diese Europäische Norm legt die Anforderungen an die Sicherheit, Festigkeit, Dauerhaltbarkeit und Standsicherheit für alle Arten von Behältnismöbeln für den Nicht-Wohnbereich fest.
Sie gilt nicht für Behältnismöbel im Wohn- und Bürobereich, Industriebereich, für Küchen und Gastronomieeinrichtungen, Lagereinrichtungen im Einzelhandel und für Industrie-Schließfächer.
Anforderungen an die Festigkeit und Dauerhaltbarkeit sind nicht anwendbar auf die Konstruktion eines Gebäudes, bei¬spielsweise gilt die Festigkeit von Wandhängeschränken nur für die Schränke und für die Teile, die zur Befestigung verwendet werden. Die Wand selbst und die wandseitigen Befestigungsmittel sind darin nicht enthalten.
Es sind keine Anforderungen an die Beständigkeit gegen Alterung, Abnutzung und Entflammbarkeit enthalten.

La présente Norme européenne spécifie les exigences pour la sécurité, la résistance, la durabilité et la stabilité de tous les types de meubles de rangement à usage collectif.
Elle ne s'applique pas aux meubles de rangement à usage domestique, aux meubles de bureau, aux meubles à usage industriel, aux éléments de cuisine, aux équipements de restauration, ni aux meubles de rangement à usage commercial ou industriel, ni aux meubles vestiaires.
Les exigences relatives aux essais de solidité et de durabilité n'évaluent pas la structure du bâtiment ; par exemple, la solidité des armoires à accrochage mural est appréciée uniquement sur l'armoire elle-même et ses dispositifs d'accrochage ; le mur et les dispositifs de fixation au mur ne sont pas pris en compte.
Elle ne stipule pas d’exigences pour la résistance au vieillissement, à la dégradation et à l’inflammabilité.
