On-site non-potable water systems - Part 2: Systems for the use of treated greywater
This document specifies the principles of design, sizing, installation, identification, commissioning and maintenance of greywater systems with the purpose of use of greywater on-site.
It applies preferably for the use of treated greywater for:
- WC flushing;
- garden watering;
- laundry;
- cleaning purposes.
This document also specifies the minimum requirements for greywater systems.
Excluded from the scope of this document are:
- the use as drinking water and for food preparation;
- the use for personal hygiene purposes;
- direct reuse systems without treatment;
- product design for specific system components;
- industrial effluents;
- heat recovery and cooling demands.
NOTE Conformity with this document does not exempt from compliance with the obligations arising from local or national regulations.

Dieses Dokument legt die Grundlagen von Planung, Bemessung, Einbau, Kennzeichnung, Inbetriebnahme und Wartung von Grauwassernutzungsanlagen für die Verwendung von Grauwasser vor Ort fest.
Sie ist insbesondere anwendbar für die Nutzung von behandeltem Grauwasser zur:
- WC-Spülung;
- Gartenbewässerung;
- Reinigung von Wäsche;
- Reinigung von Gegenständen.
Dieses Dokument legt auch die Mindestanforderungen an Grauwassersysteme fest.
Vom Anwendungsbereich dieses Dokuments ausgenommen sind:
- die Verwendung als Trinkwasser und zur Zubereitung von Speisen;
- die Verwendung für die Körperhygiene;
- direkte Anwendungssysteme ohne Aufbereitung;
- Produktdesign für spezifische Systembestandteile;
- industrielles Schmutzwasser;
- Wärmerückgewinnung und Kühlzwecke.
ANMERKUNG Konformität mit diesem Dokument entbindet nicht von der Einhaltung der Auflagen, die sich aus örtlichen oder nationalen Vorschriften ergeben können.

Le présent document spécifie les principes de conception, de dimensionnement, d’installation, d’identification, de mise en service et d’entretien des systèmes d’eaux ménagères dans le but d’utiliser ces dernières sur site.
Il s’applique de préférence à l’utilisation d’eaux ménagères traitées pour :
- la chasse des toilettes ;
- l’arrosage des jardins ;
- le lavage du linge ;
- le nettoyage.
Le présent document spécifie également les exigences minimales relatives aux systèmes d’eaux ménagères.
Sont exclus du domaine d’application du présent document :
- l’utilisation comme eau potable et pour la préparation des aliments ;
- l’utilisation pour l’hygiène personnelle ;
- les systèmes à utilisation directe sans traitement ;
- la conception de produits pour des composants de système spécifiques ;
- les effluents industriels ;
- la récupération de chaleur et le refroidissement.
