This document specifies a test method for the determination of foreign matter in metallic blast-cleaning abrasives.
The purpose of the test is to establish the level to which the abrasive is contaminated by foreign matter. The level of foreign matter, e.g. oxides and residual metallurgical slag, is determined by magnetic separation.
This is one of a number of parts of ISO 11125 dealing with the sampling and testing of metallic abrasives for blast-cleaning.
The types of metallic abrasive and requirements on each are contained in the various parts of ISO 11124.
The ISO 11124 and ISO 11125 series have been drafted as a coherent set of International Standards on metallic blast-cleaning abrasives. Information on all parts of both series is given in Annex A.

Le présent document spécifie une méthode d'essai pour la détermination des particules étrangères présentes dans les abrasifs métalliques destinés à la préparation par projection.
L'objectif de cet essai est d'établir le degré de contamination des abrasifs par des particules étrangères. La quantité de particules étrangères, par exemple d'oxydes et de laitier métallique résiduel, est déterminée par séparation magnétique.
Ceci est l'une des parties de l'ISO 11125 traitant de l'échantillonnage et des essais des abrasifs métalliques destinés à la préparation par projection.
Le type d'abrasifs métalliques et les exigences pour chacun sont donnés dans les différentes parties de l'ISO 11124.
Les séries de normes ISO 11124 et ISO 11125 constituent une série cohérente de Normes internationales sur les abrasifs métalliques destinés à la préparation par projection. L'Annexe A donne des informations sur toutes les parties des deux séries.

Ta dokument določa preskusno metodo za ugotavljanje tujih delcev v kovinskih granulatih za
peskanje.
Namen preskusa je ugotoviti raven onesnaženosti granulata s tujo snovjo. Raven tuje snovi, npr. oksidov in ostankov metalurške žlindre, se določi z magnetnim ločevanjem.
To je eden od več delov standarda ISO 11125, ki obravnavajo vzorčenje in preskušanje kovinskih granulatov
za peskanje.
Vrste kovinskega granulata in zahteve za vsak granulat so določene v različnih delih standarda ISO 11124.
Skupini standardov ISO 11124 in ISO 11125 sta bili pripravljeni kot skladen sklop mednarodnih standardov za kovinske granulate za peskanje. Informacije o vseh delih obeh skupin so podane v dodatku A.

This document (EN ISO 11125-6:2018) has been prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 35 "Paints
and varnishes" in collaboration with Technical Committee CEN/TC 139 “Paints and varnishes” the
secretariat of which is held by DIN.
This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of an
identical text or by endorsement, at the latest by March 2019, and conflicting national standards shall
be withdrawn at the latest by March 2019.
Attention is drawn to the possibility that some of the elements of this document may be the subject of
