Power operated pedestrian swing door drives with self closing function - Requirements and test methods
This document is applicable to power-operated pedestrian swing door drives with self closing function using mechanically stored energy for single and double leaf swing doorsets with or without fire resistance and smoke control characteristics. It defines requirements and test methods for the self-closing function.
This document does not apply to:
- electrically controlled hold-open systems according to EN 14637;
- door coordinating devices according to EN 1158;
- electrically powered hold-open devices for swing doors according to EN 1155.
Requirements and test methods for hold-open systems are not part of this document.
Additional requirements and test methods for the use of power-operated pedestrian swing door drives with self closing function on double-leaf swing doors are described in EN 1158 and are therefore not part of this document.
Kraftbetätigte Drehflügeltürantriebe mit Selbstschließfunktion - Anforderungen und Prüfverfahren
Dieses Dokument gilt für kraftbetätigte Drehflügeltürantriebe mit Selbstschließfunktion mit mechanisch gespeicherter Energie für ein und zweiflügelige Drehflügeltüren mit oder ohne Feuer und Rauchschutz¬eigenschaften. Es legt Anforderungen und Prüfverfahren für die Selbstschließfunktion fest.
Dieses Dokument gilt nicht für:
- elektrisch gesteuerte Feststellanlagen nach EN 14637;
- Schließfolgeregler nach EN 1158;
- elektrisch betriebene Feststellvorrichtungen für Drehflügeltüren nach EN 1155.
Anforderungen und Prüfverfahren für Feststellanlagen sind nicht Teil dieses Dokuments.
Zusätzliche Anforderungen und Prüfverfahren für die Verwendung von kraftbetätigten Drehflügeltür-antrieben mit Selbstschließfunktion bei zweiflügeligen Drehflügeltüren werden in EN 1158 beschrieben und sind daher nicht Teil dieses Dokuments.

Le présent document s’applique aux opérateurs motorisés de portes battantes pour piétons avec fonction de fermeture automatique utilisant de l’énergie mécanique intrinsèque, pour portes battantes à un et deux vantaux, avec ou sans caractéristiques de résistance au feu et d’étanchéité à la fumée. Le présent document définit les exigences et les méthodes d'essai pour la fonction de fermeture automatique.
Le présent document ne s’applique pas :
- aux systèmes de retenue contrôlés électriquement selon l’EN 14637 ;
- aux dispositifs de sélection des vantaux selon l’EN 1158 ;
- aux dispositifs de retenue électromagnétique pour portes battantes selon l’EN 1155.
Les exigences et les méthodes d'essai pour les systèmes de blocage ne font pas partie de ce document
Les exigences et méthodes d'essai supplémentaires pour l'utilisation d’opérateurs motorisés avec fonction de fermeture automatique sur les portes battantes à deux vantaux sont décrites dans la norme EN 1158 et ne font donc pas partie du présent document.
