Office furniture - Tables and desks and storage furniture - Test methods for the determination of strength and durability of moving parts

This document specifies test methods for the determination of strength and durability of moving parts of desks, tables and storage furniture.  
This document does not apply to high density mechanized filing systems, rotary filing systems or plan files.
The tests are intended to simulate normal functional use, as well as misuse that might reasonably be expected to occur.
Safety requirements can be found in EN 14073-2,. Office furniture - Storage furniture - Part 2: Safety requirements
Assessment of ageing is not included.

Büromöbel - Büro-Arbeitstische und Büroschränke - Prüfverfahren für die Bestimmung der Festigkeit und der Dauerhaltbarkeit beweglicher Teile

In dieser Europäischen Norm werden Prüfverfahren zur Bestimmung der Festigkeit und Dauerhaltbarkeit der beweglichen Teile von Büro-Arbeitstischen und Büroschränken festgelegt.
Diese Europäische Norm gilt nicht für mechanisierte Aktenschränke, Karussellaktenschränke oder Planschränke.
Die Prüfungen sind darauf abgestimmt, die bestimmungsgemäße Verwendung sowie eine vorhersehbare Fehlanwendung zu simulieren.
Sicherheitstechnische Anforderungen befinden sich in EN 14073-2.
Die Beurteilung der Alterung ist nicht enthalten.

La présente Norme européenne spécifie des méthodes d'essai pour la détermination de la résistance et de la durabilité des parties mobiles des tables de travail de bureau et des meubles de rangement de bureau.
La présente norme ne s'applique pas aux systèmes mécanisés d'archivage, aux systèmes de classement rotatifs et aux meubles de rangement pour plans.
Les essais sont destinés à simuler une utilisation normale ainsi qu'une utilisation anormale prévisible.
Les exigences de sécurité peuvent être trouvées dans la 2ème partie de cette norme.
L'évaluation du vieillissement n'est pas incluse.
