Guidelines for water safety plan concept in buildings

This document describes a method for the analysis, evaluation and management of risks that exist or may arise from the use of potable water installations within buildings and, for certain purposes, outside buildings but within the premises. Water Safety Plans for potable water supply systems are excluded from the scope of this document.
The document is addressed to all organisations and other stakeholders which are responsible for providing potable water within a safe potable water installation inside buildings according to EN 806, EN 1717 and national regulations.

Dieses Dokument beschreibt eine Methode für die Analyse, Bewertung und Beherrschung von Risiken, die bei der Nutzung von Trinkwasser-Installationen innerhalb von Gebäuden und, für bestimmte Zwecke, außerhalb von Gebäuden, aber innerhalb des Geländes vorliegen oder entstehen können. Wassersicherheitspläne für Trinkwasserversorgungssysteme sind vom Anwendungsbereich dieses Dokuments ausgeschlossen.
Dieses Dokument richtet sich an alle Organisationen und andere Beteiligte, die für die Bereitstellung von Trinkwasser im Rahmen einer sicheren Trinkwasser-Installation innerhalb von Gebäuden nach EN 806, EN 1717 und nationalen Vorschriften verantwortlich sind.

Le présent document décrit une méthode d’analyse, d'évaluation et de gestion des risques existants ou pouvant découler de l’utilisation d’installations d’eau potable à l’intérieur des bâtiments et, dans certains cas, à l’extérieur des bâtiments mais dans les locaux. Les plans de gestion de la sécurité sanitaire de l’eau pour les réseaux d’alimentation en eau potable sont exclus du domaine d’application du présent document.
Le document s’adresse à tous les organismes et autres parties prenantes responsables de fournir de l’eau potable dans une installation d’eau potable salubre à l’intérieur des bâtiments conformément à l’EN 806, l’EN 1717 et les réglementations nationales.

Ta dokument opisuje metodo za analizo, vrednotenje in obvladovanje tveganj, ki obstajajo ali se lahko pojavijo pri uporabi napeljav za pitno vodo v stavbah in, za določene namene, zunaj
stavb, vendar v okviru prostorov. Načrti vodne varnosti za sisteme oskrbe s pitno vodo ne spadajo
na področje uporabe tega dokumenta.
Ta dokument je namenjen vsem organizacijam in drugim deležnikom, ki so odgovorni za zagotavljanje pitne vode v okviru varne napeljave za pitno vodo v stavbah v skladu s standardoma EN 806
in EN 1717 ter nacionalnimi predpisi.

This European Standard specifies requirements relating to the construction, performance and methods of testing for active media filters for drinking water installations inside buildings, with a maximum working pressure of at least 1 000 kPa and a maximum working temperature of less than 30 °C. It only concerns units, which are permanently connected to the mains supply at the point of entry or point of use.
This standard applies only to filter systems comprising a housing and filter media tested together.
It includes capsule type units where both the element and its outer housing are disposable.
NOTE   Products intended for use in water supply systems are to comply, when existing, with national regulations and testing arrangements that ensure fitness for contact with drinking water. The Member States relevant regulators and the EC Commission agreed on the principle of a future unique European Acceptance Scheme (EAS) which would provide a common testing and approval arrangement at European level.
If and when the EAS is adopted, European Standards on products will be amended by the addition of an Annex Z/EAS under Mandate M/136 which will contain formal references to the testing, certification and product marking requirements of the EAS. Until the EAS comes into force, the current national regulations remain applicable.

This European Standard applies to membrane separation systems, whose elements may be partly or entirely cleanable or disposable in accordance with the type of system. It only concerns units which are permanently connected to the mains supply at the point-of-entry or the point-of-use.
A membrane separation system may include, together with the separation device pre- and /or post-treatment devices.
For the scope of this European Standard:
-   separation device shall comply with this European Standard, i.e. without pre-and/or post-treatments;
-   where pre-and/or post-treatment devices are incorporated in the system, each of them shall conform to the relevant standard. If this is the case, the complete system shall be considered as conforming as a whole.
