This document describes a method for the analysis, evaluation and management of risks that exist or may arise from the use of potable water installations within buildings and, for certain purposes, outside buildings but within the premises. Water Safety Plans for potable water supply systems are excluded from the scope of this document.
The document is addressed to all organisations and other stakeholders which are responsible for providing potable water within a safe potable water installation inside buildings according to EN 806, EN 1717 and national regulations.

This European Standard specifies requirements and gives recommendations for the operation and maintenance of potable water installations within buildings and for pipework outside buildings but within the premises in accordance with EN 806-1.

This Technical Report provides basic information about the conditions for Legionella growth in drinking water installations in accordance with EN 806 series up to draw-off points and gives recommendations for preventing the growth of Legionella in these installations.

This European Standard specifies requirements and gives recommendations for the installation of potable water installations within buildings and for pipework outside buildings but within the premises in accordance with EN 806-1. This European Standard is applicable to new installations, alterations and repairs.

This European Standard is in conjunction with EN 806-1 and EN 806-2 for drinking water systems within premises.
This European Standard describes a calculation method for the dimensioning of pipes for the type of drinking water standard-installations as defined in 4.2.
It contains no pipe sizing for fire fighting systems.

This document gives recommendations, and specifies requirements, on the design of potable water installations within buildings and for pipework outside buildings but within the premises (see EN 806-1) and applies to new installations, alterations and repairs.

It is applicable to the system of pipes, fittings and connected appliances installed for supplying drinking water.

This document specifies requirements for and gives recommendations on the design, installation, alteration, testing, maintenance and operation of installations inside buildings conveying water intended for human consumption (hereafter referred to as potable water installations) within buildings and, for certain purposes, pipework outside buildings but within the premises (see Figure 1).
It covers the system of pipelines, fittings and connected appliances installed for supplying potable water from the delivery point to the point of use.
