This European Standard specifies a method for the determination of the dynamic viscosity of a variety of bituminous binders: modified and unmodified bituminous binders, bituminous emulsions, cut-back and fluxed bituminous binders, by means of a coaxial viscometer.
Standard application temperatures are quoted, although the dynamic viscosity can be measured at other temperatures if required. Similarly, viscosity is quoted at standard rates of shear, although additional measures can be taken at varying shear rates if required.

Bitumen und bitumenhaltige Bindemittel - Bestimmung der dynamischen Viskosität von bitumenhaltigem Bindemittel mit einem Viskosimeter mit rotierender Spindel
Diese Europäische Norm legt ein Verfahren zur Bestimmung der dynamischen Viskosität mehrerer Arten von bitumenhaltigen Bindemitteln mithilfe eines Gerätes mit rotierender Spindel (ein Koaxialviskosimeter) fest; zu den betreffenden Bindemitteln gehören modifizierte und nicht modifizierte bitumenhaltige Bindemittel, Bitumenemulsionen sowie verschnittene und gefluxte bitumenhaltige Bindemittel.
Es sind Standard-Anwendungstemperaturen angegeben, obgleich die dynamische Viskosität bei Bedarf auch bei anderen Temperaturen gemessen werden kann. In entsprechender Weise ist die Viskosität bei Standard- Schergeschwindigkeiten angegeben, obgleich bei Bedarf zusätzliche Messungen bei unterschiedlichen Schergeschwindigkeiten durchgeführt werden können.

La présente Norme Européenne prescrit une méthode de détermination de la viscosité dynamique de
différents liants bitumineux : modifiés et non modifiés, d'émulsions de bitume, de liants fluidifiés et fluxés au moyen d’un viscosimètre à mobile tournant (viscosimètre coaxial).
Des températures de référence sont citées dans la présente norme, cependant la viscosité dynamique peut être mesurée à d’autres températures si cela est exigé. De manière analogue, la viscosité est évaluée pour des taux de cisaillement de référence, cependant d’autres mesures peuvent être réalisées avec des taux de cisaillement différents si cela est exigé.

Bitumen in bitumenska veziva - Določanje dinamične viskoznosti bitumenskih veziv z uporabo rotacijskega viskozimetra
Ta evropski standard opredeljuje metodo za določanje dinamične viskoznosti različnih bitumenskih veziv: modificiranih in nemodificiranih bitumenskih veziv, bitumenskih emulzij, rezana in fluksirana bitumenska veziva, z uporabo rotacijskega viskozimetra (koaksialni viskozimeter). Navedene so standarde temperature nanašanja, čeprav je dinamično viskoznost mogoče meriti pri drugih temperaturah, če je to potrebno. Podobno je viskoznost navedena pri standardnih strižnih napetostih, čeprav so možni dodatni ukrepi pri menjavajočih strižnih napetostih, če je to potrebno.
