Aerospace series - Test methods for transparent materials for aircraft materials for aircraft glazing - Part 19: Determination of craze resistance
This standard specifies the resistance of transparent sheet to the effect of a solvent environment while set up as a cantilever beam with a load applied at the free end. No method has been developed yet for specimens with a thickness < 6 mm; for such material, a test method shall be agreed between the supplier and the customer.

Diese Norm legt die Beständigkeit transparenter Tafeln gegen die Einflüsse einer lösungsmittelhaltigen Umgebung fest, wobei diese als Ausleger eingespanntund am freien Ende belastet werden. Für Proben mit einer Dicke < 6 mm wurde bisher noch kein Verfahren ausgearbeitet; für ein solches Material muß ein Prüfverfahren zwischen Lieferanten und Käufer vereinbart werden.

La présente norme spécifie la résistance d'une feuille transparente soumise à l'influence d'une ambiance de solvant lorsqu'elle est montée en poutre cantilever, la charge étant appliquée à son extrémité libre. Aucune méthode n'a encore été développée pour les éprouvettes d'épaisseur < 6 mm; pour de tels matériaux, une méthode d'essai doit être définie entre le fournisseur et le client.
