ISO 8666:2016 establishes definitions of main dimensions and related data and of mass specifications and loading conditions. It applies to small craft having a length of the hull (LH) of up to 24 m.

L'ISO 8666 :2016 établit les définitions des dimensions principales et des caractéristiques qui leur sont associées ainsi que les définitions des spécifications de masse et des conditions de chargement. Elle s'applique aux petits navires d'une longueur de coque (LH) inférieure ou égale à 24 m.

This document (EN ISO 8666:2016) has been prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 188 ”Small
craft”.
This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of an
identical text or by endorsement, at the latest by February 2017, and conflicting national standards
shall be withdrawn at the latest by February 2017.
Attention is drawn to the possibility that some of the elements of this document may be the subject of
patent rights. CEN [and/or CENELEC] shall not be held responsible for identifying any or all such patent
rights.
This document supersedes EN ISO 8666:2002.
This document has been prepared under a mandate given to CEN by the European Commission and the
