EN 12205:2001

Transportable gas cylinders - Non-refillable metallic gas cylinders

This European Standard specifies minimum requirements for the material, design, construction and workmanship, manufacturing processes and tests at manufacture of non-refillable metallic gas cylinders of welded, brazed or seamless construction used for compressed, liquefied and dissolved gases.
This Standard is not applicable to cartridges/aerosol dispensers and spherical containers.

1 Anwendungsbereich
Diese Europäische Norm legt Mindestanforderungen bezüglich Werkstoff, Gestaltung, Bau und Ausfüh-rung,
Herstellungsverfahren und Prüfungen bei der Herstellung von geschweißten, gelöteten oder naht-losen
metallischen Einwegflaschen für verdichtete, verflüssigte und unter Druck gelöste Gase fest.
Diese Norm gilt nicht für Kartuschen/Aerosolspender und Kugelbehälter.
ANMERKUNG Für Kartuschen siehe EN 417.

La présente Norme européenne spécifie les exigences minimales concernant le matériau, la conception, la construction et la qualité d'exécution, les procédés de fabrication et les essais de fabrication des bouteilles à gaz métalliques non rechargeables, soudées, brasées ou sans soudure, utilisées pour des gaz comprimés, liquéfiés et dissous.
La présente norme ne s'applique pas aux cartouches ou diffuseurs aérosols ainsi qu'aux conteneurs sphériques.
NOTE   Pour les cartouches, voir EN 417.
