Space product assurance - The control of limited shelf-life materials

Several classes of material depend on a chemical reaction for their application and their final properties are sensitive to the exact composition of the reactants. The final properties vary with the reactants’ age and storage condition.
This European Standard specifies the procedure to be used for the control of limited shelf­life materials employed in the fabrication of spacecraft and associated equipment.

Bestimmte Werkstoffklassen erfordern eine chemische Reaktion bei ihrer Anwendung, und ihre endgültigen Eigenschaften reagieren empfindlich auf die exakte Zusammensetzung der Reaktionsteilnehmer.
Diese Europäische Norm legt das Verfahren fest, das für die Kontrolle der begrenzten Lagerbeständigkeit von Werkstoffen verwendet wird, die bei der Herstellung von Raumfahrzeugen und zugehörigen Einrichtungen eingesetzt werden.

La présente Norme européenne spécifie la procédure à suivre pour contrôler les matériaux utilisés dans la fabrication des satellites et des équipements associés et dont la durée de vie sur étagère est limitée.
