ISO 20029-2:2017 specifies the methods of preparation of test specimens and the standard test methods to be used in determining the properties of thermoplastic polyester/ester and polyether/ester elastomer moulding and extrusion materials. Requirements for handling test material and/or conditioning both the test material before moulding and the specimens before testing are given.
Procedures and conditions for the preparation of test specimens in a specified state and procedures for measuring properties of the materials from which these specimens are made are given. Properties and test methods which are suitable and necessary to characterize thermoplastic polyester/ester and polyether/ester moulding and extrusion materials are listed.
The properties have been selected from the general test methods in ISO 10350‑1. Other test methods in wide use for or of particular significance to these moulding and extrusion materials are also included in this document, as are the designatory properties specified in ISO 20029‑1 (hardness, melting temperature and tensile/flexural modulus).
In order to obtain reproducible and comparable test results, it is intended to use the methods of preparation and conditioning, the specimen dimensions and the test procedures specified in this document. Values determined will not necessarily be identical to those obtained using specimens of different dimensions or prepared using different procedures.
ISO 20029-2:2017 has been developed on the basis of ISO 10350‑1, as at the moment, no standard exists for the acquisition and presentation of comparable single-point data for thermoplastic elastomers. After publication of this document and the analogous document for polyurethanes (ISO 16365‑2), it is the intention to develop ISO 10350‑3 for the acquisition and presentation of comparable single-point data for thermoplastic elastomers, based on this document and ISO 16365‑2, as the basis for the development of thermoplastic-elastomer material standards.

Kunststoffe - Thermoplastische Polyester/Ester- und Polyether/Ester-Elastomer-Werkstoffe - Teil 2: Herstellung von Probekörpern und Bestimmung von Eigenschaften (ISO 20029-2:2017)

Dieses Dokument legt die Verfahren zur Herstellung von Probekörpern und die anzuwendenden Norm-Prüfverfahren für die Bestimmung der Eigenschaften von thermoplastischen Polyester/Ester- und Polyether/Ester-Elastomer-Werkstoffen fest. In der Norm werden die Anforderungen an die Handhabung des Prüfwerkstoffs und/oder an die Konditionierung des Prüfwerkstoffs sowohl vor der Formgebung als auch der fertigen Probekörper vor der Prüfung angegeben.
Angegeben werden Verfahren und Bedingungen für die Herstellung der Probekörper in einem bestimmten Zustand und Verfahren zum Messen der Eigenschaften der Werkstoffe, aus denen diese Probekörper hergestellt werden. Aufgeführt sind die Eigenschaften und Prüfverfahren, die geeignet und notwendig sind, um thermoplastische Polyester/Ester- und Polyether/Ester-Werkstoffe zu charakterisieren.
Die Eigenschaften wurden aus den allgemeinen Prüfverfahren in ISO 10350-1 ausgewählt. Weitere Prüfverfahren, die bei diesen Werkstoffen häufig angewendet werden oder von besonderer Bedeutung sind, wie die in ISO 20029-1 festgelegten kennzeichnenden Eigenschaften (Härte, Schmelztemperatur und Zug-/Biegemodule), sind ebenfalls in diesem Dokument enthalten.
Um reproduzierbare und vergleichbare Prüfergebnisse zu erzielen, ist es beabsichtigt, die in diesem Dokument angegebenen Herstellung- und Konditionierungsverfahren, Probekörpermaße und Prüfverfahren anzuwenden. Die ermittelten Messergebnisse müssen nicht notwendigerweise mit denen identisch sein, die mit Probekörpern anderer Maße oder Probekörper, die nach anderen Verfahren hergestellt wurden, erhalten wurden.
Dieses Dokument wurde in Anlehnung an ISO 10350-1 erstellt, da es gegenwärtig keine Norm für die Ermittlung und Darstellung von vergleichbaren Einpunktkennwerten für thermoplastische Elastomere gibt. Nach Veröffentlichung dieses Dokuments und der analogen Norm für Polyurethane (ISO 16365-2) ist beabsichtigt, ISO 10350-3 für die Ermittlung und Darstellung von vergleichbaren Einpunktkennwerten für thermoplastische Elastomere auf Grundlage dieses Dokuments und ISO 16365-2 zu erstellen, der später weitere Werkstoffnormen für thermoplastische Elastomere folgen werden.

ISO 20029-2:2017 spécifie les méthodes de préparation des éprouvettes et les méthodes d'essai normalisées à utiliser pour déterminer les propriétés des élastomères thermoplastiques à base de polyester/ester et polyéther/ester pour moulage et extrusion. Les exigences relatives à la manipulation du matériau d'essai et/ou au conditionnement du matériau d'essai avant moulage et des éprouvettes avant essai sont indiquées.
Les modes opératoires et les conditions nécessaires à la préparation des éprouvettes dans un état défini, ainsi que les modes opératoires de mesure des propriétés des matériaux à partir desquels les éprouvettes sont obtenues sont donnés. Les propriétés et méthodes d'essai qui sont utiles et nécessaires pour caractériser les matériaux thermoplastiques à base de polyester/ester et polyéther/ester pour moulage et extrusion sont énumérées.
Les propriétés ont été sélectionnées parmi les méthodes d'essai générales de l'ISO 10350‑1. D'autres méthodes d'essai largement utilisées ou qui revêtent une importance particulière pour ces matériaux pour moulage et extrusion sont aussi incluses dans l'ISO 20029‑1 (dureté, température de fusion et module en traction/flexion).
Dans le but d'obtenir des résultats d'essai reproductibles et comparables, il est prévu d'utiliser les méthodes de préparation et de conditionnement, les dimensions d'éprouvette ainsi que les modes opératoires d'essai spécifiés dans le présent document. Les valeurs déterminées ne seront pas nécessairement identiques à celles obtenues en utilisant des éprouvettes de dimensions différentes ou préparées selon des modes opératoires différents.
ISO 20029-2:2017 a été élaboré sur la base de l'ISO 10350‑1 puisque, à l'heure actuelle, il n'existe aucune norme sur l'acquisition et la présentation de caractéristiques intrinsèques comparables pour les élastomères thermoplastiques. Après la publication du présent document et d'un document analogue pour les polyuréthanes (ISO 16365‑2), il est prévu d'élaborer l'ISO 10350‑3 relative à l'acquisition et la présentation de caractéristiques intrinsèques comparables pour les élastomères thermoplastiques, fondée sur le présent document et sur l'ISO 16365‑2, comme point de départ pour l'élaboration de normes couvrant les matériaux élastomères thermoplastiques.

Ta dokument določa metode za pripravo preskušancev in standardnih preskusnih metod za uporabo pri ugotavljanju lastnosti materialov iz plastomernih poliester/ester ali polieter/ester elastomerov
za oblikovanje in ekstrudiranje. Podane so zahteve za upravljanje s preskusnimi materiali in/ali tretiranje preskusnega materiala pred oblikovanjem ter preskušancev pred preskusom.
Podani so postopki in pogoji za pripravo preskušancev v določenem stanju in postopki za merjenje lastnosti materialov, iz katerih so preskušanci izdelani. Navedene so lastnosti in preskusne metode, ki so primerne in nujne za opredelitev materialov za oblikovanje in ekstrudiranje plastomernih poliester/ester in polieter/ester elastomerov.
Lastnosti so bile izbrane na podlagi splošnih preskusnih metod iz standarda ISO 10350-1. Druge preskusne metode, ki so v splošni uporabi ali so posebej pomembne za te materiale za brizganje in ekstrudiranje, so prav tako vključene
v ta dokument. Vključene so tudi označevalne lastnosti, ki so navedene v standardu ISO 20029-1 (trdnost, temperatura taljenja in natezni/upogibalni moduli).
Da se zagotovijo primerljivi in ponovljivi rezultati preskusa, naj se uporabljajo metode priprave in obdelave, mere preskušanca ter preskusni postopki, ki so določeni v tem dokumentu. Pri tem ni nujno, da bodo ugotovljene vrednosti enake tistim, ki so pridobljene z uporabo preskušancev, ki imajo drugačne mere ali so pripravljeni z uporabo drugih postopkov.
Ta dokument je bil pripravljen na podlagi standarda ISO 10350-1, saj trenutno ne obstaja standard za pridobitev in predstavitev primerljivih enotočkovnih podatkov o plastomernih elastomerih. Po objavi tega dokumenta in podobnega dokumenta za poliuretane (ISO 16365-2) bo namen razviti standard ISO 10350-3 za pridobitev in predstavitev primerljivih enotočkovnih podatkov o plastomernih elastomerih na podlagi tega dokumenta in standarda ISO 16365-2, ki je podlaga za razvoj standardov za materiale iz plastomernih elastomerov.

Introduction
The structure of thermoplastic elastomer material standards is based on the following considerations.
For each type of thermoplastic elastomer, reference is made to the relevant material standard.
Thermoplastic-elastomer materials are classified into three classes according to the primary
elastomeric property, hardness, as shown in Figure 1 below. This classification on the basis of hardness
reflects the special position of thermoplastic elastomers between rubber materials on the one hand
and plastics on the other.
Each class is subdivided into standard properties and special properties. The classes have many
standard properties and many special properties in common. Furthermore, a standard property in one
class can be a special property in another class and vice versa.
Special properties are those properties which are in wide use or of particular significance in the
practical characterization of a specific material.
