Diving suits - Part 1: Wet suits - Requirements and test methods

This European Standard specifies the construction and performance requirements (including thermal) of wet suits for wear by divers for underwater activities where the user is breathing underwater. Marking, labelling, information meant to be provided at the point of sale, and instructions for use are also specified.
Laboratory and practical performance tests are specified.
Short sleeve jackets, short-leg trousers, under- and overgarments, and separate accessories such as gloves, hoods and boots are not within the scope of this document.
NOTE   Suits and shorties for snorkelling including underwater activities are not covered by this standard.

Tauchanzüge - Teil 1: Nasstauchanzüge - Anforderungen und Prüfverfahren

Dieses Dokument legt die Konstruktion und die Anforderungen an die Leistungsfähigkeit (einschließlich der thermischen Leistung) von Nasstauchanzügen fest, die von Tauchern bei Tätigkeiten unter Wasser zu tragen sind, bei denen der Benutzer unter Wasser atmet. Kennzeichnung, Etikettierung, mitzuliefernde Informationen beim Verkauf und eine Gebrauchsanweisung werden auch festgelegt.
Es werden Laborprüfungen und praktische Leistungsprüfungen festgelegt.
Kurzarmjacken, kurze Hosen, Unter- und Überziehkleidung sowie separate Zubehörteile wie Handschuhe, Hauben und Stiefel fallen nicht in den Anwendungsbereich dieses Dokuments.
ANMERKUNG   Anzüge und Kurzanzüge zum Schnorcheln, einschließlich Aktivitäten unter Wasser, werden in dieser Norm nicht behandelt.

Vêtements de plongée - Partie 1 : Vêtements isothermes - Exigences et méthodes d'essai

Cette Norme européenne spécifie les exigences relatives à la construction et aux performances (y compris les exigences relatives à la protection thermique) des vêtements isothermes destinés à être portés par les plongeurs dans le cadre d'activités subaquatiques, au cours desquelles l'utilisateur respire sous l'eau. Le marquage, l'étiquetage, les informations destinées à être fournies sur le point de vente et la notice d'instructions sont également spécifiés.
Des essais en laboratoire et des essais de performance pratique sont spécifiés.
Les gilets à manches courtes, les pantalons courts, les sous-vêtements et les sur-vêtements ainsi que les accessoires séparés tels que les gants, cagoules et bottillons ne relèvent pas du domaine d'application de la présente Norme.
NOTE   Les vêtements et les shorties conçus pour la randonnée aquatique y compris les activités subaquatiques ne sont pas couverts par cette norme.

Ta dokument določa zahteve za zasnovo in lastnosti (vključno s toplotnimi lastnostmi) za mokre obleke, ki jih potapljači uporabljajo za podvodne dejavnosti, pri katerih uporabnik diha pod vodo. Na mestu prodaje so navedene tudi informacije o označbah in etiketah ter navodila za uporabo. Podane so zahteve za laboratorijske in praktične preskuse učinkovitosti. Jopiči s kratkimi rokavi, hlače s krajšimi hlačnicami, spodnja oblačila in dodatna oblačila, kot so rokavice, kapuce in čevlji, ne spadajo na področje uporabe tega dokumenta.  OPOMBA: Potapljaške obleke in obleke s kratkimi hlačnicami za snorklanje, vključno s podvodnimi dejavnostmi, ne spadajo na področje uporabe tega standarda.

This document (EN 14225-1:2017) has been prepared by Technical Committee CEN/TC 162 “Protective
clothing including hand and arm protection and lifejackets”, the secretariat of which is held by DIN.
This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of an
identical text or by endorsement, at the latest by June 2018, and conflicting national standards shall be
withdrawn at the latest by June 2018.
Attention is drawn to the possibility that some of the elements of this document may be the subject of
patent rights. CEN shall not be held responsible for identifying any or all such patent rights.
This document supersedes EN 14225-1:2005.
This document has been prepared under a mandate given to CEN by the European Commission and the
