Parquet flooring - General guideline for installation

This Technical specification gives guidelines for installation of parquet flooring. Products which are defined in EN 13226, EN 13227, EN 13228, EN 13488, EN 13489, EN 13629, and EN 14761 are concerned.
This Technical specification applies for installations indoors, and does not apply to the installation of joists and sub floors.
This Technical specification does not cover installations in service class 3 (see 3.4).

Parkett - Allgemeine Verlegenanleitung

Die vorliegende Technische Spezifikation enthält Leitlinien für die Verlegung von Parkettfußböden. Behandelt werden Produkte, die in EN 13226, EN 13227, EN 13228, EN 13488, EN 13489, EN 13629 und EN 14761 definiert sind.
Diese Technische Spezifikation gilt für die Verlegung in Innenräumen, sie gilt nicht für den Einbau von Deckenbalken und Unterböden.
Die vorliegende Technische Spezifikation behandelt keine Verlegung der Nutzungsklasse 3 (siehe 3.4).

La présente spécification technique donne des recommandations pour la pose du parquet en bois. Les
produits concernés sont définis dans l’EN 13226, l’EN 13227, l’EN 13228, l’EN 13488, l’EN 13489,
l’EN 13629, et l’EN 14761.
La présente spécification technique s'applique aux poses en intérieur et ne s’applique pas à la pose des
solives et des sols sous-jacents.
La présente spécification technique ne couvre pas les poses dans la classe de service 3 (voir 3.4).

This Technical Specification (CEN/TS) was approved by CEN on 28 February 2008 for provisional application.
The period of validity of this CEN/TS is limited initially to three years. After two years the members of CEN will be requested to submit their
comments, particularly on the question whether the CEN/TS can be converted into a European Standard.
CEN members are required to announce the existence of this CEN/TS in the same way as for an EN and to make the CEN/TS available
promptly at national level in an appropriate form. It is permissible to keep conflicting national standards in force (in parallel to the CEN/TS)
until the final decision about the possible conversion of the CEN/TS into an EN is reached.
CEN members are the national standards bodies of Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland,
France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal,
Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and United Kingdom.
