Textile conveyor belts - Determination of the net length of an endless (spliced) conveyor belt (ISO 16851:2012)

ISO 16851:2012 specifies a method for determining the net length of an endless (spliced) conveyor belt.
It applies to all types of construction of conveyor belting with the exception of belts containing steel cord reinforcement. It is not suitable or valid for light conveyor belts described in ISO 21183-1.

Diese Internationale Norm legt ein Prüfverfahren zur Bestimmung der Länge eines endlosen Fördergurtes fest.
Es wird für alle Typen von Fördergurten angewendet mit Ausnahme von Gurten, die eine Verstärkung aus Stahlseilen enthalten, und es ist nicht geeignet oder gültig für leichte Fördergurte, die in ISO 21183-1 [3] beschrieben sind.

L'ISO 16851:2012 spécifie une méthode de détermination de la longueur nette des courroies transporteuses sans fin (jonctionnées).
Elle est applicable à tous les types de construction de courroies transporteuses à l'exception de celles ayant une carcasse en câble d'acier. Elle n'est pas appropriée ou valable pour les courroies transporteuses légères décrites dans l'ISO 21183‑1.

Ta mednarodni standard se ne uporablja oziroma ni veljaven za lahke trakove tračnih transporterjev, opisane v standardu ISO 21183-1.

The text of ISO 16851:2012 has been prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 41“Pulleys and belts
(including veebelts)” of the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and has been taken over as
EN ISO 16851:2013 by Technical Committee CEN/TC 188 “Conveyor belts” the secretariat of which is held by
SNV.
This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of an identical
text or by endorsement, at the latest by December 2013, and conflicting national standards shall be withdrawn
at the latest by December 2013.
Attention is drawn to the possibility that some of the elements of this document may be the subject of patent
rights. CEN [and/or CENELEC] shall not be held responsible for identifying any or all such patent rights.
This document supersedes EN ISO 16851:2004.
According to the CEN-CENELEC Internal Regulations, the national standards organizations of the following
