Chemicals used for treatment of water intended for human consumption - Iron (III) sulfate liquid

This document is applicable to iron (III) sulfate liquid of various iron and/or acid contents (see 3.2) used for treatment of water intended for human consumption. It describes the characteristics of iron (III) sulfate liquid and specifies the requirements and the corresponding analytical methods for iron (III) sulfate liquid( analytical methods are given in Annex B)  and gives information on its use in water treatment. It also determines the rules relating to safe handling and use of iron (III) sulfate liquid(see annex E) .

Diese Europäische Norm gilt für Eisen(III)sulfat mit unterschiedlichen Eisen- und/oder Säuregehalten (siehe 3.2) zur Aufbereitung von Wasser für den menschlichen Gebrauch. Sie beschreibt die Eigenschaften von Eisen(III)sulfat und legt die Anforderungen sowie die entsprechenden Prüfverfahren für Eisen(III)sulfat fest. Sie gibt Informationen für seine Anwendung in der Wasseraufbereitung.
ANMERKUNG   Eine Übereinstimmung mit dieser Norm bedeutet keine gleichzeitige Annahme oder Zulassung des Produktes in einem der Mitgliedsländer der EU oder EFTA. Die Anwendung des in dieser Europäischen Norm beschrie-be-nen Produktes unterliegt den jeweiligen Regelungen der nationalen autorisierten Stellen.

Le présent document est applicable au sulfate de fer (III) liquide de différentes teneurs en fer et/ou en acide (voir 3.2) utilisé pour le traitement de l'eau destinée à la consommation humaine. Il décrit les caractéristiques et spécifie les prescriptions et les méthodes d'analyse correspondantes du sulfate de fer (III) liquide et donne les informations pour son utilisation dans le traitement de l'eau (les méthodes d'analyse sont données à l'Annexe B). Il fixe également les règles générales relatives à la sécurité d'emploi et de manipulation du sulfate de fer (III) liquide (voir Annexe E).
