ISO 20568-1:2017 establishes a system of designation for fluoropolymer materials, which may be used as the basis for specifications.
The various types of fluoropolymer are differentiated from each other by a classification system based on appropriate levels of the designatory properties and on information about the intended application and/or method of processing, important properties, additives, colorants, fillers and reinforcing materials.

Dieses Dokument legt ein Bezeichnungssystem für Fluorpolymere fest, das als Grundlage für Spezifikationen verwendet werden kann.
Die verschiedenen Typen von Fluorpolymeren werden mit Hilfe eines Einteilungssystems voneinander unterschieden, das auf geeigneten Wertebereichen der kennzeichnenden Eigenschaften und auf Informationen über die vorgesehene Anwendung und/oder Verarbeitungsverfahren, wichtige Eigen-schaften, Zusatzstoffe, Farbstoffe, Füll- und Verstärkungsstoffe, beruht.

ISO 20568-1:2017 établit un système de désignation des matériaux polymères fluorés qui peut être utilisé comme base pour les spécifications.
Les types de polymères fluorés sont différenciés les uns des autres par un système de classification fondé sur des niveaux appropriés des propriétés de désignation et sur des informations sur l'application prévue et/ou la méthode de mise en ?uvre, les propriétés importantes, les additifs, les colorants, les charges et les matériaux de renfort.

Ta dokument določa sistem označevanja materialov iz fluoropolimernih materialov, ki jih je mogoče uporabiti kot podlago za specifikacije.
Različne vrste fluoropolimerov se ločujejo glede na sistem razvrščanja, ki temelji na ustreznih ravneh označevalnih lastnostih in na informacijah o načrtovani uporabi in/ali metodi obdelave, pomembnih lastnostih, aditivih, barvilih, polnilih ter materialih za ojačanje.
Za politetrafluoroetilen (PTFE)
Za materiale za oblikovanje in ekstrudiranje na osnovi PTFE in za smole PTFE, pridobljene s koagulacijo disperzije:
– standardna specifična težnost (SSG)
– prostorninska gostota
– velikost zrn
Za vodne disperzije PTFE
– odstotek PTFE v disperziji
– odstotek površinsko aktivnih snovi v disperziji
– stopnja tolerance površinsko aktivnih snovi
Za smole, ki se obdelujejo s taljenjem
Za CPT, ECTFE, EFEP, ETFE, FEP, PFA, PVDF, PVF, VDF/CTFE, VDF/HFP, VDF/TFE, VDF/TFE/HFP
– temperatura tališča
– prostorninski pretok taline
Za PCTFE
– čas ničelne trdnosti (ZST)
Za TFE/PDD
– temperaturna prehodnost stekla (Tg)
Za vodne disperzije smol, ki se obdelujejo s taljenjem (ETFE, FEP, PFA, PVDF, PVF, VDF/CTFE,
VDF/HFP, VDF/TFE, VDF/TFE/HFP)
– odstotek polimera v disperziji
– odstotek površinsko aktivnih snovi v disperziji
– stopnja tolerance površinsko aktivnih snovi
Sistem označevanja se uporablja za vse fluoropolimere in mešanice. Uporablja se za nespremenjene materiale, pripravljene za običajno uporabo, in materiale, ki so spremenjeni na primer z barvili, aditivi, polnili, armirnimi materiali in modifikatorji polimerov.
Materiali z enako oznako nimajo nujno tudi enakih lastnosti. Ta dokument ne podaja inženirskih podatkov, podatkov o delovanju ali podatkov o pogojih obdelave, ki so morda potrebni za določitev materiala. Če so take dodatne lastnosti zahtevane, se določijo v skladu s preskusnimi metodami iz standarda ISO 20568-2, če je to primerno.
Za namene določitve plastomernega materiala za določeno specifikacijo, je treba v podatkovnem bloku 5 navesti dodatne zahteve (glej točko 4.1).

This document (EN ISO 20568-1:2017) has been prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 61 “Plastics”
in collaboration with Technical Committee CEN/TC 249 “Plastics” the secretariat of which is held by
NBN.
This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of an
identical text or by endorsement, at the latest by December 2017, and conflicting national standards
shall be withdrawn at the latest by December 2017.
