This European Standard specifies the equipment and procedures for determining the apparent overall density and the apparent core density under reference conditions. It is applicable to full size thermal insula-ting products and test specimens of preformed pipe insulation.

Anwendungsbereich
Diese Europäische Norm legt Prüfeinrichtungen und Verfahren zur Bestimmung der Rohdichte und der Kern-Rohdichte unter definierten Prüfbedingungen fest. Sie gilt für Wärmedämmstoffe in Liefermaßen und für Probekörper aus vorgeformten Rohrdämmstoffen.
