Railway applications - Ground based services - Water restocking equipment

This European Standard specifies the interface requirements for water restocking equipment, and the on board system to preserve the quality of the water supply. It is applicable to railway vehicles fitted with water taps for use in toilets, washing facilities, water dispensers and catering equipment and the railway infrastructure at designated servicing sites.
This European Standard is not applicable to filling railway vehicles with water for the purpose of engine cooling, steam heating or work equipment on on-track machines.

Diese Europäische Norm legt die Schnittstellenanforderungen für Einrichtungen zur Wasserbefüllung und dem fahrzeuginternen System, um die Qualität der Wasserversorgung aufrechtzuerhalten, fest. Sie gilt für Eisenbahnfahrzeuge, die mit einem Wasserhahn zur Verwendung in Toiletten, Wascheinrichtungen, Wasserspendern und in Küchenbereichen ausgestattet sind, sowie für bestimmte Servicestellen der Eisenbahninfrastruktur.
Diese Europäische Norm gilt nicht für die Befüllung von Eisenbahnfahrzeugen mit Wasser zur Motorkühlung, Beheizung mittels Dampf oder für Arbeitsgeräte von Gleisbaumaschinen.

Applications ferroviaires - Services au sol - Equipements de remplissage en eau

La présente Norme européenne spécifie les exigences relatives aux connexions des équipements de remplissage en eau, et le système à bord pour préserver la qualité de l’alimentation en eau. Elle s’applique aux véhicules ferroviaires équipés de robinets d’eau pour une utilisation dans les toilettes, aux installations pour se laver, aux distributeurs d’eau et d’équipements de restauration, et aux infrastructures ferroviaires dans les lieux de maintenance choisis.
La présente norme ne s’applique pas au remplissage en eau des véhicules ferroviaires à des fins de refroidissement du moteur, de chauffage à vapeur ou à l’équipement d’exploitation des engins de chantier.
