Gas welding equipment - Safety devices - Part 1: Incorporating a flame (flashback) arrestor

This part of EN 730 specifies the general requirements and tests for safety devices for fuel gases and oxygen or compressed air incorporating a flame (flashback) arrestor used downstream of manifold, cylinder and (or) pipeline outlet regulators, and upstream of blowpipes for welding, cutting and allied processes. This Standard does not specify the location of these devices in the gas system. This Standard does not include requirements for safety devices which do not incorporate a flame arrestor which are covered by prEN 730-2.

Dieser Teil der EN 730 enthält die allgemeinen Anforderungen und Prüfungen für Sicherheitseinrichtungen für Brenngase und Sauerstoff oder Druckluft mit integrierter Flammensperre, die abströmseitig von Hauptstellen-, Flaschen- und (oder) Leitungsdruckreglern und anströmseitig von Brennern für Schweißen, Schneiden und verwandte Verfahren angewendet werden. Diese Norm macht keine Angaben über die Anordnung der Einrichtungen im Gassystem.

La présente partie de la présente Norme européenne spécifie les exigences générales et les essais des dispositifs de sécurité pour les gaz combustibles et l'oxygène ou l'air comprimé, avec arrêt de flamme, utilisés en aval des centrales de détente, des détendeurs pour bouteilles et (ou) canalisations, et en amont des chalumeaux pour le soudage, le coupage et les techniques connexes.
La présente norme ne spécifie pas la position de ces dispositifs dans la distribution du gaz.
La présente norme ne formule pas d'exigences relatives aux dispositifs de sécurité sans arrêt de flamme, qui sont traités par l'EN 730-2.
La présente norme ne traite pas de l'utilisation de dispositifs de sécurité avec arrêt de flamme destinés à des applications comportant une alimentation de pré-mélange d'oxygène/gaz combustible ou d'air/gaz combustible, par exemple en aval de mélangeurs de gaz, ou d'un générateur prévu pour produire un mélange hydrogène/oxygène par décomposition électrolytique de l'eau.
