Petroleum and natural gas industries - Field testing of drilling fluids - Part 2: Oil-based fluids (ISO 10414-2:2011)
ISO 10414-2:2011 provides standard procedures for determining the following characteristics of oil-based drilling fluids:
drilling fluid density (mud weight);
viscosity and gel strength;
filtration;
oil, water and solids concentrations;
alkalinity, chloride concentration and calcium concentration;
electrical stability;
lime and calcium concentrations, calcium chloride and sodium chloride concentrations;
low-gravity solids and weighting material concentrations.
The annexes provide additional test methods or examples that can optionally be used for the determination of:
shear strength
oil and water concentrations from cuttings;
drilling fluid activity;
aniline point;
lime, salinity and solids concentration;
sampling, inspection and rejection;
rig-site sampling;
cuttings activity;
active sulphides;
calibration and verification of glassware, thermometers, viscometers, retort kit cups and drilling fluid balances;
permeability plugging apparatus with set-screw secured end cap;
permeability plugging apparatus with threaded end cap;
elastomer compatibility;
sand content of oil-based fluid;
identification and monitoring of weight-material sag;
oil-based drilling fluid test report form.

L'ISO 10414-2:2011 fournit des procédures opératoires normalisées permettant l'évaluation des caractéristiques des fluides de forage à base d'huiles suivantes:
masse spécifique du fluide de forage (poids de la boue);
viscosité et force du gel;
filtration;
teneur en huile, eau et solides;
alcalinité, teneur en chlorures et teneur en calcium;
stabilité électrique;
teneurs en chaux et calcium, teneurs en chlorure de calcium et chlorure de sodium;
teneurs en déblais de forage de faible densité et en alourdissants.
Dans les annexes sont présentées des méthodes d'essais supplémentaires ou des exemples qui peuvent éventuellement être utilisés pour déterminer:
la force de cisaillement;
les teneurs en huile et en eau des déblais de forage;
l'activité du fluide de forage;
le point d'aniline;
les teneurs en chaux, en sels et solides;
l'échantillonnage, le contrôle et le refus;
l'échantillonnage in-situ;
l'activité des déblais de forage;
les sulfures actifs;
l'étalonnage et la vérification de la verrerie, thermomètres, viscosimètres, cuvettes de cornue de pyrogénation et balances pour fluide de forage;
les appareils de mesure d'obturation de la perméabilité (PPA) comportant des bouchons sécurisés à vis;
les appareils de mesure d'obturation de la perméabilité (PPA) comportant des bouchons filetés;
la compatibilité avec un élastomère;
la teneur en sable du fluide à base d'huile;
l'identification et le contrôle de la ségrégation de l'alourdissant;
le formulaire de rapport de tests de fluides de forage à base d'huile.
Industrija za predelavo nafte in zemeljskega plina - Preskušanje vrtalnih tekočin na terenu (in situ) - 2. del: Tekočine na oljni osnovi (ISO 10414-2:2011)
Ta del ISO 10414 zagotavlja standardne postopke za določanje naslednjih značilnosti vrtalnih tekočin na oljni osnovi: a) gostota vrtalne tekočine (teža blata); b) viskoznost in trdnost gela; c) filtracija; d) koncentracije olja, vode in trdnih snovi; e) alkalnost, koncentracija klorida in koncentracija kalcija; f) električna stabilnost; g) koncentracije apna in kalcija, koncentracije kalcijevega klorida in natrijevega klorida; h) koncentracije trdnih snovi z nizko gravitacijo in težkih materialov. Dodatki določajo dodatne metode preskušanja ali primere, ki se lahko po želji uporabijo za določitev: - strižne trdnosti (dodatek A); - koncentracij olja in vode iz izvrtin (dodatek B); - dejavnosti vrtalne tekočine (dodatek C); - anilinske točke (dodatek D); - koncentracij apna, slanosti in trdnih snovi (dodatek E); -? vzorčenje, nadzor in zavrnitev (dodatek F); - vzorčenje na mestu ploščadi (dodatek G); - dejavnost izvrtin (dodatek H); - aktivnih sulfidov (dodatek I); - kalibracije in preverjanja steklovine, termometrov, viskometrov, posod kompletov retort in ravni vrtalne tekočine (dodatek J); - oprema za zamašitev prepustnosti z zaščitno zaključno kapico z nastavnim vijakom (dodatek K); - oprema za zamašitev prepustnosti z zaključno kapico z navojem (dodatek L); - združljivost elastomera (dodatek M); - vsebnost peska v tekočini na oljni osnovi (dodatek N); - določanje in spremljanje povešanja težkega materiala (dodatek O); - obrazec za poročilo o preskusu vrtalne tekočine na oljni osnovi (dodatek P).

This document (EN ISO 10414-2:2011) has been prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 67 “Materials,
equipment and offshore structures for petroleum, petrochemical and natural gas industries” in collaboration
with Technical Committee CEN/TC 12 “Materials, equipment and offshore structures for petroleum,
petrochemical and natural gas industries” the secretariat of which is held by AFNOR.
