    • Immediately after preparation, decant paint into the measuring cylinder to the 70 ml mark;
    • Close with stopper and stand upright 4 h at 23 ± 2 °C;
    • Measure the volume V (ml) of supernatant above the sediment.
  • Results:
    • Report V (ml) and sedimentation rating I = V (expressed in ml over 4 h).
  • Test report content must include identification of the paint, batch numbers, mixing ratios, thinner references, flow time and cup number, test results, deviations and test date.
