Dieses Dokument legt Anforderungen für die Konstruktion, Ausführung, Prüfung und Sicherheitsangaben von Einkaufswagen für den allgemeinen Gebrauch fest, die mit (einer) Abstelleinrichtung(en) ausgerüstet sind, mit oder ohne Kindersitz, und die bei Begleitung durch einen Benutzer für den Gebrauch auf Personenfahrsteigen geeignet sind

La présente Norme européenne spécifie les prescriptions relatives à la construction, aux performances, aux essais et aux spécifications de sécurité applicables aux chariots d'achat à corbeille pour libre - service, d'usage général, correspondant à l'EN 1929-1:1998 et qui sont équipés en plus de dispositif(s) de dépose de marchandises, conformes au prEN 1929-3:2001, et destinés à être utilisés sur trottoirs roulants conformes à l'EN 115, accompagnés par un utilisateur.
Les caractéristiques techniques des accessoires (voir 3.8 de l'EN 1929-1:1998) ne sont pas traitées dans le présent projet de norme européenne.
