Slabs of natural stone for external paving - Requirements and test methods

This European Standard specifies the performance requirements and the corresponding test methods for all natural stone slabs, for external paving use. It provides for product marking and for the evaluation of conformity of the product to this European Standard. This European Standard covers also characteristics that are of importance to the trade. It does not cover internal flooring tiles or slabs nor does it cover the effect of de-icing salts.

Diese Europäische Norm legt die Leistungsanforderungen für sämtliche Natursteinplatten für Außenbereiche fest sowie die entsprechenden Prüfverfahren. Sie ermöglicht die Produktkennzeichnung und Konformitätsbewertung des Produktes nach dieser Europäischen Norm. Diese Europäsiche Norm behandelt außerdem charakteristische Merkmale, die für den Handel von Bedeutung sind. Diese Norm behandelt weder Fliesen für den Innenbereich noch die Wirkung von Tausalzen.

La présente norme spécifie les exigences de performances et les méthodes d'essais correspondantes, relatives à toutes les dalles de pierre naturelle pour l'emploi en revêtement de sol extérieur. Elle spécifie le marquage et l'évaluation de conformité des produits à la présente norme européenne. La présente norme européenne précise également les caractéristiques importantes sur le plan commercial. Elle ne couvre pas les carreaux ou les dalles pour les dallages intérieurs et elle ne couvre pas les effets des sels de déverglaçage.
