This European Standard specifies the requirements for factory made flexible elastomeric foam products which are used for the thermal insulation of building equipment and industrial installations with an operating temperature in the range of approximately - 200 °C to + 175 °C.
NOTE Below an operating temperature of - 50 °C, tests regarding the suitability of the products in the intended application shall be performed. Manufacturer's advice should be heeded in all cases.
The products are manufactured in the form of sheets, tubes, rolls and tapes with or without coating and/or self-adhesive backing and/or different closure systems.
This European Standard describes product characteristics and includes procedures for testing, evaluation of conformity, marking and labelling.
Products covered by this standard are also used in prefabricated thermal insulation systems and composite panels; the performance of systems incorporating these products is not covered.
This European Standard does not specify the required level of a given property that shall be achieved by a product to demonstrate fitness for purpose in a particular application. The levels required for a given application can be found in regulations and invitations to tender.
Products with a declared thermal conductivity greater than 0,050 W/(m•K) at 10 °C are not covered by this standard.
This European Standard does not cover products for the insulation of the building structure.
The normative part of this standard does not cover compressive stress (see Annex D, Clause D.5).
Wärmedämmstoffe für die technische Gebäudeausrüstung und für betriebstechnische Anlagen in der Industrie - Werkmäßig hergestellte Produkte aus flexiblem Elastomerschaum (FEF) - Spezifikation
Diese Europäische Norm legt die Anforderungen für werkmäßig hergestellte Produkte aus flexiblem Elastomerschaum fest, die als Wärmedämmstoffe für die technische Gebäudeausrüstung und für betriebstechnische Anlagen in der Industrie im Temperaturbereich von etwa 200 °C bis 175 °C benutzt werden.
ANMERKUNG Unterhalb einer Betriebstemperatur von 50 °C sind Prüfungen bezüglich der Eignung der Produkte für den beabsichtigten Anwendungsfall durchzuführen. In jedem Fall sollten die Empfehlungen des Herstellers beachtet werden.
Die Produkte werden in der Form von Platten, Schläuchen, Rollen und Bändern mit oder ohne Beschichtung und/oder Klebeschutzschicht und/oder verschiedene Verschlusssysteme hergestellt.
Diese Europäische Norm beschreibt die Produkteigenschaften und enthält die Prüfverfahren und Fest-legungen für die Konformitätsbewertung, die Kennzeichnung und die Etikettierung.
Die in dieser Norm beschriebenen Produkte werden auch in vorgefertigten Wärmedämmsystemen und Mehr-schicht-Verbundplatten angewendet; die Eigenschaften von Systemen, in die diese Produkte integriert sind, werden nicht behandelt.
Diese Europäische Norm legt keine Leistungsstufen für eine vorgegebene Eigenschaft fest, die ein Produkt erreichen muss, um für einen bestimmten Anwendungsfall tauglich zu sein. Für bestimmte Anwendungen benötigte Stufen können Regelwerken oder Ausschreibungen entnommen werden.
Diese Europäische Norm gilt nicht für Produkte, deren Nennwert der Wärmeleitfähigkeit größer ist als 0,050 W/(mK) bei 10 °C.
Diese Europäische Norm gilt nicht für Produkte, die zur Dämmung des Bauwerks bestimmt sind.
Die Druckspannung wird im normativen Teil dieser Norm nicht behandelt (siehe Anhang D, D.5).

La présente Norme européenne spécifie les exigences relatives aux produits manufacturés en mousse élastomère flexible, utilisés pour l’isolation thermique de l’équipement du bâtiment et des installations industrielles, dont la température de service est approximativement comprise entre – 200 °C et + 175 °C.
NOTE 1 En cas de température de service inférieure à – 50 °C, des essais sur l’aptitude des produits à l’utilisation prévue doivent être réalisés. Il convient de se référer systématiquement aux conseils du fabricant.
Les produits sont manufacturés sous la forme de feuilles, de tubes, de rouleaux, et de rubans avec ou sans enduit de finition et/ou envers autocollant et/ou différents systèmes de fermeture.
La présente Norme européenne décrit les caractéristiques de ces produits et comporte des modes opératoires d’essai, d’évaluation de conformité, de marquage et d’étiquetage.
Les produits couverts par la présente norme sont également utilisés dans les systèmes d’isolation thermique préfabriqués et les panneaux composites ; les performances des systèmes incorporant ces produits ne sont pas traitées.
La présente Norme européenne ne spécifie pas le niveau requis pour une propriété donnée que doit posséder un produit pour démontrer son aptitude à une application particulière. Les niveaux requis pour une application donnée peuvent être trouvés dans les réglementations et les appels d’offre.
Les produits dont la conductivité thermique déclarée est supérieure à 0,050 W/(m•K) à 10 °C ne sont pas couverts par la présente norme.
La présente Norme européenne ne couvre pas les produits pour l’isolation des structures de bâtiments.
La partie normative de la présente norme ne couvre pas la contrainte en compression (voir Annexe D, D.5).

Ta evropski standard določa zahteve za proizvode iz fleksibilne elastomerne pene, ki se uporabljajo za toplotno izolacijo opreme stavb in industrijskih inštalacij z razponom delovne temperature približno od –200 °C do 175 °C. OPOMBA Pod delovno temperaturo –50 °C se izvajajo preskusi v zvezi z ustreznostjo proizvodov za nameravano uporabo. V vseh primerih je treba upoštevati napotke proizvajalca. Proizvodi so izdelani v obliki plošč, cevi, kolutov in trakov z ali brez laka in/ali samolepilne zadnje strani in/ali z različnimi sistemi zapiranja. Ta evropski standard opisuje lastnosti proizvodov ter zajema postopke za preskušanje, vrednotenje skladnosti, označevanje in etiketiranje. Proizvodi iz tega standarda se uporabljajo tudi v predizdelanih sistemih toplotne izolacije in vezanih ploščah; lastnosti sistemov iz teh proizvodov niso opisane. Ta evropski standard ne določa zahtevane ravni določene lastnosti, ki jo mora proizvod doseči, da se dokaže njegova primernost namenu za posamezno vrsto uporabe. Zahtevane ravni za posamezno uporabo so določene v uredbah in javnih razpisih. Proizvodi z deklarirano toplotno prevodnostjo, višjo od 0,050 W/mK pri 10 °C, v tem standardu niso zajeti. Ta evropski standard ne zajema proizvodov za izolacijo stavbne strukture. Normativen del tega standarda ne zajema tlačne napetosti (glej dodatek D, D.5).
