Decorative wall coverings - Roll and panel form

This European Standard applies to all forms of wallcovering products in roll and panel form as defined in
EN 235 supplied for hanging onto internal walls, partitions or ceilings, by means of an adhesive, whose primary purpose is decorative. However, certain wallcovering products may confer minor sound absorbtion and thermal resistance properties.
It also provides for the evaluation of conformity of products to the requirements of this standard.
It does not apply to wall coverings whose primary purpose is structural or protective (e.g. vapour or moisture barriers).

Dekorative Wandbekleidungen - Rollen- und Plattenform

Diese Europäische Norm gilt für alle Formen von Wandbekleidungsprodukten in Rollen  und Plattenform nach EN 235, die vorrangig zu dekorativen Zwecken an Innenwände, Trennwände oder Decken angeklebt werden. Bestimmte Wandbekleidungsprodukte können jedoch auch geringfügig zur Schallabsorption und zum Wärmedurchlasswiderstand beitragen.
Darüber hinaus wird die Bewertung der Konformität der Produkte mit den Anforderungen dieser Norm festgelegt.
Die Norm gilt nicht für Wandbekleidungen, die vorwiegend einen baulichen oder einen Schutzzweck erfüllen (z. B. Dampf  oder Feuchtigkeitssperren).

Dekorativne stenske obloge - Zvitki in plošče

Ta evropski standard velja za vse oblike stenskih oblog v zvitkih in ploščah, kot so opredeljene v EN 235, ki se z lepilom nalepijo na notranje stene, predelne stene ali strope in imajo predvsem okrasno funkcijo. Nekatere stenske obloge lahko omogočajo tudi manjše vpijanje zvoka in toplotno odpornost. Prav tako zagotavlja ocenjevanje skladnosti proizvodov z zahtevami tega standarda. Ne velja za stenske obloge, katerih glavna funkcija je strukturna ali zaščitna (npr. pregrade pred hlapi ali vlago).
