Gas welding equipment - Blowpipes for gas welding, heating and cutting - Specifications and tests (ISO 5172:2006)
ISO 5172:2006 specifies specifications and tests for blowpipes for gas welding, heating and cutting of metals. It applies to manual blowpipes for welding and heating with a nominal thermal power up to 32 000 kcal/h, and manual and machine cutting blowpipes with a cutting range up to 300 mm.
ISO 5172:2006 does not apply to air-aspirated blowpipes which are covered in ISO 9012.

Diese Internationale Norm legt Anforderungen und Prüfungen für Brenner zum Gasschweißen, Wärmen und Schneiden von Metallen fest.
Sie ist anwendbar für Handbrenner zum Schweißen und Erwärmen mit einer nominellen Wärmeleistung bis zu 32 000 kcal/h und Hand- sowie Maschinenschneidbrenner mit einem Schneidbereich bis 300 mm.
Diese Internationale Norm gilt nicht für Luftansaugbrenner, die in der ISO 9012 enthalten sind.
ANMERKUNG 1 Brenner mit einer größeren nominellen Wärmeleistung oder Schneidbereich können auch in Übereinstimmung mit dieser Internationalen Norm geprüft werden, wenn die Anforderungen und die Prüfung geeignet sind.
ANMERKUNG 2 Für die gebräuchlichsten Brenngase ist die entsprechende Durchflussmenge in Tabelle A.1 wiedergegeben.
ANMERKUNG 3 Beispiele für Brenner enthält der Anhang B. Dieser gibt auch Hinweise bezüglich der Terminologie.
Zusätzlich zu den verwendeten zwei von drei offiziellen ISO-Sprachen (Englisch und Französisch) enthält der Anhang Begriffe in deutscher Sprache. Diese wurden unter der Verantwortung des ISO-Mitgliedes Deutschland (DIN) veröffentlicht und dienen lediglich der Information. Nur die Begriffe in den offiziellen ISO-Sprachen können als ISO-Begriffe betrachtet werden.

L'ISO 5172:2006 spécifie les spécification et les essais des chalumeaux pour le soudage aux gaz, le chauffage et le coupage des métaux. Elle s'applique aux chalumeaux manuels pour le soudage et le chauffage d'une puissance calorifique nominale allant jusqu'à 32 000 kcal/h et aux chalumeaux coupeurs manuels et aux chalumeaux coupeurs machines correspondant à une plage de coupage allant jusqu'à 300 mm.
L'ISO 5172:2006 ne s'applique pas aux chalumeaux à aspiration d'air qui font l'objet de l'ISO 9012.

Ta mednarodni standard določa specifikacije in preskuse za gorilnike za plamensko varjenje, segrevanje in rezanje kovin. Velja za ročne gorilnike za varjenje in segrevanje z nazivno toplotno močjo do 32 000 kcal/h ter za ročne in strojne gorilnike za rezanje z razponom reza do 300 mm. Ta mednarodni standard se ne uporablja za gorilnike z vsesavanjem zraka, ki so opisani v standardu ISO 9012.

Foreword
This document (EN ISO 5172:2006) has been prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 44
"Welding and allied processes" in collaboration with Technical Committee CEN/TC 121
"Welding", the secretariat of which is held by DIN.
This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of
an identical text or by endorsement, at the latest by October 2006, and conflicting national
standards shall be withdrawn at the latest by October 2006.
This document supersedes EN 874:1995 and EN ISO 5172:1996.
According to the CEN/CENELEC Internal Regulations, the national standards organizations of
the following countries are bound to implement this European Standard: Austria, Belgium,
Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary,
