Ceramic floor and wall tiles - Definitions, classification, characteristics and marking

This European Standard gives definitions, classification, characteristics and marking requirements for ceramic tiles generally used for floor and wall surfaces. Ceramic tiles also include mosaics, factory slabs, pavers and components for swimming pools, as well as the corresponding acessories. (edge, corner and skirting tiles and beads and other pieces) It makes reference to the physical properties, chemical resistance, dimensions and surface quality.

In dieser Europäischen Norm werden Begriffe, Klassifizierung, Gütemerkmale, Anforderungen und Kennzeichnungen für Keramische Flisen und Platten, die im allgemeinen zur Herstellung von Bodenbelägen und Wandbekleidungen verwendet werden, festgelegt. Der Begriff Keramische Fliesen und Platten umfasst auch Mosaik, industriefliesen, Platten und Bauelemente für Schwimmbecken sowie die entsprecenden Zubehörteile (Kanten-, Ecken- und Sockelfliesen, Randleisten und andere Teile)

La présente norme européenne donne les définitions, la classification, les caractéristiques et les spécifications de marquage des carreaux et dalles céramiques utilisés généralement pour des revêtements de sol et mur. Les carreaux et dalles céramiques comprennent les mosaïques, les dalles d'usine et éléments pour piscines ainsi que les acessoires correspondants (bordures, coins, plinthes, arêtes et autres)
