This document specifies a method, using diluted acetic acid, to determine the mass percentage of chitosan fibres, after elimination of non-fibrous matter, in textiles made of mixtures of:
—          chitosan fibre
with
—          certain other fibres.
This method is applicable to fibre mixtures of chitosan fibre with cellulose fibres (cotton, linen, ramie, viscose, modal, lyocell), protein fibres (wool, cashmere, silk), or synthetic fibres (polyester, polyamide, acrylic).

Dieses Dokument legt ein Verfahren fest mit verdünnter Essigsäure zur Bestimmung des prozentualen Massenanteils von Chitosanfasern nach Eliminierung nichtfaseriger Begleitstoffe in Textilien aus Mischungen aus:
- Chitosanfasern
mit
- bestimmten anderen Fasern.
Dieses Verfahren ist anzuwenden für Fasermischungen aus Chitosanfasern mit Cellulosefasern (Baumwolle, Leinen, Ramie, Viskose, Modal, Lyocell), Proteinfasern (Wolle, Kaschmir, Seide) oder synthetischen Fasern (Polyester, Polyamid, Polyacryl).

Le présent document spécifie une méthode de détermination, à l'aide d'acide acétique dilué, de la masse exprimée en pourcentage, après élimination des matières non fibreuses, dans les textiles composés de mélanges de:
—          fibres de chitosane;
avec
—          certaines autres fibres.
Cette méthode s'applique aux mélanges de fibres composés de fibres de chitosane avec des fibres de cellulose (coton, lin, ramie, viscose, modal, lyocell), des fibres protéiniques (laine, cachemire, soie) ou des fibres synthétiques (polyester, polyamide, acrylique).

International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and has been taken over as EN ISO 1833-28:2020
by Technical Committee CEN/TC 248 “Textiles and textile products” the secretariat of which is held by
BSI.
This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of an
identical text or by endorsement, at the latest by October 2020, and conflicting national standards shall
be withdrawn at the latest by October 2020.
