Coating powders - Part 7: Determination of loss of mass on stoving (ISO 8130-7:1992)

The method described is a simple, practical test which provides sufficiently accurate results with coating powders that lose up to about 2 % (m/m). Any water present in the product under test is included in the test result. For any particular application, the test method needs to be completed by supplementary information.

Dieser Teil von ISO 8130 legt ein Verfahren zum Bestimmen des Einbrennverlustes von Pulverlacken, die
durch elektrostatisches Versprühen auf ein Substrat aufzutragen sind, fest.
ANMERKUNG 1 Das in diesem Teil von ISO 8130 beschriebene Verfahren ist eine einfache praktische Prüfung, die bei
Pulverlacken mit einem Einbrennverlust bis zu etwa 2 % (Massenanteil) ausreichend genaue Ergebnisse liefert. Oberhalb
dieses Wertes nimmt die Genauigkeit mit zunehmendem Einbrennverlust ab.
ANMERKUNG 2 In dem zu prüfenden Produkt enthaltenes Wasser geht in das Prüfergebnis ein.

The text of ISO 8130-7:1992 has been prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 35 “Paints and varnishes” of
the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and has been taken over as EN ISO 8130-7:2010 by
Technical Committee CEN/TC 139 “Paints and varnishes” the secretariat of which is held by DIN.
This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of an identical
text or by endorsement, at the latest by May 2011, and conflicting national standards shall be withdrawn at the
latest by May 2011.
Attention is drawn to the possibility that some of the elements of this document may be the subject of patent
