ISO 4628-6:2011 provides pictorial reference standards for designating the degree of chalking of paint coatings. It also describes a method by which the degree of chalking is rated.

Dieses Dokument enthält Vergleichsbilder und ein Verfahren zur Bewertung des Kreidungsgrades von Beschichtungen. Es legt ebenfalls ein Verfahren zum Bewerten des Kreidungsgrades fest. Bei diesem Verfahren ist es wichtig, zwischen Abbauprodukten der Beschichtung und anhaftendem Schmutz zu unterscheiden, besonders, wenn die Kreidung nur gering ist.
WICHTIG — Für die Bestimmung des Kreidungsgrades mit dem Klebebandverfahren ist es erforderlich, Vergleichsbilder zu verwenden, die in diesem Dokument enthalten sind. Unter Berücksichtigung der Tatsache, dass elektronische Kopien dieser Vergleichsbilder unterschiedlich sein können, je nachdem, ob sie am Bildschirm betrachtet oder ausgedruckt werden, wird für Vergleichsprüfungen empfohlen, nur Vergleichsbilder aus der gedruckten Version dieses Dokumentes zu verwenden, die direkt von den ISO Mitgliedern oder deren Vertriebshändlern beschafft wurde.

L'ISO 4628-6:2011 fournit des clichés de référence pour désigner le degré de farinage des revêtements de peinture. Elle décrit également une méthode pour coter le degré de farinage.

This document (EN ISO 4628-6:2023) has been prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 35 "Paints
and varnishes" in collaboration with Technical Committee CEN/TC 139 “Paints and varnishes” the
secretariat of which is held by DIN.
This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of an
identical text or by endorsement, at the latest by April 2024, and conflicting national standards shall be
withdrawn at the latest by April 2024.
Attention is drawn to the possibility that some of the elements of this document may be the subject of
patent rights. CEN shall not be held responsible for identifying any or all such patent rights.
This document supersedes EN ISO 4628-6:2011.
