Leather - Requirements for the designation and description of leather in upholstery and automotive interior applications - Part 2: Automotive interior applications

This document specifies requirements for the designations and descriptions used in the exchange of goods when exhibiting, promoting (e.g. advertising and labelling), and placing on the market when leather is used in automotive interiors.
This document provides general guidelines intended to be applied in the designation and description of automotive seating and interiors when reference is made to leather as a constituent material.
The designation or description of leather used in upholstered furniture, leather in footwear, leather goods and leather clothing including gloves are not covered by this document.

Dieses Dokument legt die Anforderungen an die Bezeichnungen und Beschreibungen fest, die im Rahmen des Warenaustausches beim Ausstellen, bei der Verkaufsförderung (z. B. Werbung und Etikettierung) und beim Inverkehrbringen verwendet werden, wenn Leder bei der Innenausstattung von Automobilen verwendet wird.
Dieses Dokument stellt allgemeine Leitlinien zur Verfügung, die zur Anwendung bei der Bezeichnung und Beschreibung von Sitzen und Innenausstattungen von Automobilen vorgesehen sind, wenn auf Leder als Materialbestandteil hingewiesen wird.
Die Bezeichnung oder Beschreibung von Leder in Polstermöbeln, Leder in Schuhen, Lederwaren und bei Lederbekleidung einschließlich Handschuhen wird in diesem Dokument nicht behandelt.

Le présent document spécifie les exigences relatives aux désignations et descriptions utilisées dans le cadre des échanges de marchandises lors de l’exposition, de la promotion (par exemple, publicité et étiquetage) et de la mise sur le marché lorsque le cuir est utilisé dans l’habitacle des véhicules automobiles.
Le présent document fournit des lignes directrices générales destinées à être appliquées pour désigner et décrire les sièges et banquettes ainsi que les intérieurs automobiles lorsqu’il est fait référence au cuir comme matériau constitutif.
La désignation ou la description du cuir utilisé dans les meubles capitonnés, les chaussures, les articles de maroquinerie et les vêtements en cuir, y compris les gants, ne sont pas traitées dans le présent document.
