Diese Internationale Norm legt die Anforderungen für drei mit einer thermoplastischen Wendel verstärkte Typen thermoplastischer Schläuche zum Ansaugen und Entladen im Temperaturbereich von -10°C bis +55°C fest. Die in dieser Internationalen Norm enthaltenen Schlauchtypen sind nicht für entflammbare und brennbare Materialien oder aromatische Lösungsmittel bestimmt.

La présente Norme internationale spécifie les exigences pour trois types de tuyaux thermoplastiques à renforcement thermoplastique en spirale pour aspiration et refoulement pour une utilisation dans la plage de températurede 10 °Cà 55 °C.  Les types de tuyaux traités dans la présente Norme internationale ne sont pas prévus pour une utilisation avec des matériaux inflammables et combustibles, ni avec des solvants aromatiques.  
NOTE : Des tuyaux de construction similaire pour aspiration et refoulement dans la lutte contre l'incendie sont spécifiés dans l'ISO 14775.

Foreword
IS0 (the International Organization for Standardization) is a worldwide

Introduction
This International Standard has been prepared to provide minimum acceptable requirements for the
satisfactory performance of polymer reinforced thermoplastics hoses for suction and discharge
applications, conveying water, aqueous chemical solutions and abrasive solids and slurries.
If there is a special requirement for resistance to deleterious chemicals this shall be a matter for agreement
between the supplier and the purchaser.
The list of nominal bores given in tables 1 and 2 is not intended to be restrictive or to preclude the
manufacture of other sizes than those of the R 10 series of preferred numbers (the basis of the tables) and
which may be the subject of individual national standards but compliance with this standard can not be
claimed.
