Building hardware - Lever handles and knob furniture - Requirements and test methods

This European Standard specifies test methods and requirements for spindle and fastening elements, operating torques, permissible free play and safety, free angular movement and misalignment, durability, static strength and corrosion resistance for sprung and unsprung lever handles, knobs for doors, push pads and similar devices in combination with backplates or roses operating latches.
This European Standard is applicable only to lever handles and knobs that operate a latch or a lock and other devices.
It specifies four categories of use according to frequency and other conditions of use.

Diese Europäische Norm legt Prüfverfahren für und Anforderungen an Drückerstifte und Befestigungs-elemente, Betätigungsmomente, zulässiges freies Spiel und Sicherheit, freie Winkelbewegung und -versatz, Dauer¬haftigkeit, statische Festigkeit und Korrosionsbeständigkeit von Türdrückern und Türknäufen mit und ohne Federsystem, Stoßplatten u. ä. Einrichtungen in Kombination mit Türschildern oder Türrosetten zur Betätigung von Schloss¬fallen fest.
Diese Europäische Norm gilt nur für Türdrücker und Türknäufe, mit denen ein Fallenriegel oder ein Schloss sowie sonstige Einrichtungen betätigt werden.
Sie legt vier Klassen für die Gebrauchskategorie entsprechend der Betätigungshäufigkeit und weiteren Anwendungs¬bedingungen fest.

La présente Norme européenne spécifie les méthodes d'essai ainsi que les exigences pour les carrés et les éléments de fixation, les couples de manoeuvre, le jeu autorisé et la sécurité, la rotation et le désaxage, l'endurance, la résistance statique et la résistance à la corrosion pour les dispositifs de porte à béquilles avec et sans ressort de rappel, les boutons de porte, les plaques de poussée et les dispositifs similaires en combinaison avec des plaques ou rosettes de manoeuvre des serrures.
La présente Norme européenne s'applique uniquement aux béquilles et boutons de portes qui manoeuvrent une serrure à pêne dormant ou une serrure bec de cane et d'autres dispositifs.
Il spécifie quatre catégories d'utilisation selon la nature et la fréquence d'utilisation.
