Respiratory protective devices - Continuous flow compressed air line breathing apparatus - Requirements, testing, marking

This document specifies minimum requirements for continuous flow compressed air line breathing apparatus for use with a full face mask, half mask, or incorporating a hood, helmet or suit, and apparatus used in abrasive blasting operations, as a respiratory protective device. Escape and diving apparatus are not covered by this document.
Laboratory and practical performance tests are included for the assessment of conformance to the requirements.

Geräte zum Gebrauch bei Strahlarbeiten als Atemschutzgerät fest. Dieses Dokument gilt nicht für
Fluchtgeräte und Tauchgeräte.
Laborprüfungen und praktische Leistungsprüfungen sind enthalten, um die Übereinstimmung mit den
Anforderungen feststellen zu können.

La présente Norme européenne fixe les spécifications minimales des appareils de protection respiratoire isolants à adduction d'air comprimé à débit continu dotés de masques complets, demi-masques ou avec cagoule ou casque en tant qu'appareils de protection respiratoire. Les appareils destinés à l'évacuation, à la plongée et ceux utilisés dans les opérations de projections d'abrasifs sans dispositifs de protection supplémentaires ne sont pas couverts par la présente Norme européenne.
Elle contient des essais pratiques de performance et des essais en laboratoire pour s'assurer de la conformité avec les exigences.
