Respiratory protective devices - Compressed air line breathing apparatus for use with a full face mask, half mask or a mouthpiece assembly - Requirements, testing, marking

This European Standard specifies minimum requirements for compressed air line breathing apparatus for use with a full face mask, a half mask or a mouthpiece assembly and a respiratory protective device. Escape and diving apparatus and that used in abrasive blasting operations are not covered by this standard.   Laboratory and practical perrformance tests are included for the assessment of compliance with the requirements.

Diese Europäische Norm enthält Mindestanforderungen für Druckluft - Schlauchgeräte als Atemschutzgerät, die in Verbindung mit einer Vollmaske, Halbmaske oder Mundstückgarnitur verwendet werden. Flucht- und Tauchgeräte sowie Geräte, die bei Strahlenarbeiten eingesetzt werden, sind nicht Gegenstand dieser Norm. Die Norm enthält Laborprüfungen und praktische Leistungsprüfungen, um die Übereinstimmung mit den Anforderungen feststellen zu können.

La présente norme européenne fixe les exigences minimales des appareils de protection respiratoire à adduction d'air comprimé utilisés avec masques complets, demi-masques ou ensembles embouts buccaux en tant qu'appareils de protection respiratoire. Les appareils desitnés à l'évacuation, à la plongée et ceux utilisés dans les opérations de projection d'abrasifs ne sont pas couverts par cette norme. Elle contient des essais en laboratoire de des essais pratiques de performance pour s'assurer de la conformité avec les spécifications.
