Chemicals used for treatment of water intended for human consumption - Sodium disulfite

This European Standard is applicable to sodium disulphite used for treatment of water intended for human consumption. It describes the characteristics of sodium disulphite and specifies the requirements and the corresponding test methods for sodium disulphite. It gives information on its use in water treatment. It also determines the rules relating to safe handling and use (see Annex B).

Diese Europäische Norm gilt für Natriumdisulfit zur Aufbereitung von Wasser für den menschlichen Gebrauch.
Sie beschreibt die Eigenschaften von Natriumdisulfit und legt die Anforderungen sowie die entsprechenden
Prüfverfahren für Natriumdisulfit fest. Sie gibt Informationen für die Anwendung von Natriumdisulfit in der
Wasseraufbereitung. Sie legt darüber hinaus Regeln für die sichere Handhabung und Benutzung fest (siehe
Anhang B).
