Metallic powders, excluding powders for hardmetals - Determination of compressibility in uniaxial compression (ISO 3927:2017)

ISO 3927:2017 specifies methods for measuring the extent to which a metallic powder is compacted when subjected to uniaxial compressive loading in a confining die under specified conditions.
The method is not applicable to powders for hardmetals.

This document (EN ISO 3927:2017) has been prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 119 “Powder

metallurgy”.

This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of an

identical text or by endorsement, at the latest by March 2018, and conflicting national standards shall

be withdrawn at the latest by March 2018.

Attention is drawn to the possibility that some of the elements of this document may be the subject of

This document supersedes EN ISO 3927:2011.
