Respiratory protective devices - Compressed air line breathing apparatus with demand valve - Part 1: Apparatus with a full face mask - Requirements, testing, marking

This document specifies minimum requirements for compressed air line breathing apparatus with demand valve for use with a full face mask as a respiratory protective device. Escape and diving apparatus and apparatus used in abrasive blasting operations without additional protective features are not covered by this document, although certain requirements addressing the use in conjunction with escape apparatus and escape conditions are given.
Laboratory and practical performance tests are included for the assessment of conformance to the requirements.

Diese Europäische Norm legt Mindestanforderungen für Druckluft-Schlauchgeräte mit Lungenautomat und einer
Vollmaske als Atemschutzgerät fest. Für Fluchtgeräte und Tauchgeräte und Geräte für Strahlarbeiten ohne
zusätzliche Schutzeinrichtungen gilt die Europäische Norm nicht, obwohl gewisse Anforderungen für den Gebrauch
in Verbindung mit Fluchtgeräten und für Fluchtbedingungen angegeben werden.
Laborprüfungen und praktische Leistungsprüfungen sind enthalten, um die Übereinstimmung mit den
Anforderungen feststellen zu können.

La présente Norme européenne fixe les exigences minimales des appareils de protection respiratoire isolants
à adduction d�air comprimé avec soupape à la demande avec masque complet en tant qu�appareils de
protection respiratoire. Les appareils destinés à l�évacuation, à la plongée et ceux utilisés dans les opérations
de projection d�abrasifs sans dispositifs de protection supplémentaires ne sont pas couverts par la présente
Norme européenne, bien que certaines exigences relatives à l�utilisation d�appareils destinés à l�évacuation et
aux conditions d�évacuation soient indiquées.
Il contient des essais pratiques de performance et des essais en laboratoire pour s�assurer de la conformité
avec les exigences.
