Diese Internationale Norm beschreibt die Eigenschaften von Sechskantmuttern mit Klemmteil (Ganzmetallmuttern), Typ 2, mit Gewinde M5 bis M36, in Produktklasse A für Gewinde bis M16 und Produktklasse B für Gewinde über M16 und mit Festigkeitsklassen 5, 8, 10 und 12. Anmerkungen: 1) Die Maße der Muttern entsprechen den in ISO 4033 angegebenen Maßen, mit Ausnahme der Maße mw und hmax; 2) Muttern mit Festigkeitsklasse 9 werden in ISO 7720 behandelt. Werden in besonderen Fällen andere Festlegungen benötigt, so sind diese den bestehenden Internationalen Normen zu entnehmen, z.B. ISO 261, ISO 965-2.

La présente Norme internationale prescrit les caractéristiques des écrous hexagonaux autofreinés tout métal, style 2, de filetage M5 à M36 inclus, de grade A pour filetages < M16 et de grade B pour filetages > M16, et de classes de qualité 5, 8, 10 et 12.
NOTES 1 Les dimensions des écrous, à l'exception des dimensions mw et hmax, sont conformes à celles données dans l'ISO 4033. 2 Les écrous de classe de qualité 9 font l'objet de l'ISO 7720. Si d'autres spécifications sont requises, il est recommandé de les choisir dans les Normes internationales existantes, par exemple ISO 261, ISO 965-2, ISO 2320 et ISO 4759-1.

Foreword
ISO (the International Organization for Standardization) is a worldwide

1 Scope
This International Standard specifies the characteristics of prevailing torque type all-metal hexagon nuts,
style 2, with threads from M5 up to and including M36, in product grade A for threads up to and including M16
and product grade B for threads above M16, and with property classes 5, 8, 10 and 12.
NOTES
1 The dimensions of the nuts with the exception of the dimensions m and h correspond to those
w max
given in ISO 4033.
2 Nuts of property class 9 are dealt with in ISO 7720.
If other specifications are required, they should be selected from existing International Standards, for example
ISO 261, ISO 965-2, ISO 2320 and ISO 4759-1.
