Continuous-fibre-reinforced plastic composites - Pultruded unidirectional rods - Determination of tensile properties in parallel to the fibre direction

This document specifies a method for determining the tensile properties of pultruded, unidirectional rods made from continuous fibre-reinforced plastic composites, in parallel to fibre direction.
It is applicable to pultruded rods which diameters are preferably ranging from 3 mm to 20 mm.
This method is suitable for use with continuous-fibre-reinforced plastic composites made from carbon fibres and glass fibres.
This method is suitable for use with all polymer matrix systems reinforced with unidirectional fibres having a cylindrical shape.
This method is not intended to be used for testing specimens such as tubes or yarns already covered by other test methods.

Dieses Dokument legt ein Verfahren zur Bestimmung der Zugeigenschaften von parallel zur Faserrichtung pultrudierten, unidirektionalen Stäben aus kontinuierlich, faserverstärkten Faserverbundkunststoffen fest.
Dieses Dokument ist für pultrudierte Stäbe mit Durchmessern von vorzugsweise 3 mm bis 20 mm anwendbar.
Dieses Verfahren ist für die Anwendung mit kontinuierlich faserverstärkten Faserverbundkunststoffen aus Kohlenstoff- und Glasfasern geeignet.
Dieses Verfahren ist für die Anwendung mit allen Polymer-Matrixsystemen geeignet, die mit unidirek-tionalen Fasern verstärkt sind und eine zylindrische Form haben.
Dieses Verfahren ist nicht für die Anwendung an Probekörpern wie Rohren oder Garnen vorgesehen, für die bereits andere Prüfverfahren vorliegen.

Le présent document spécifie une méthode pour déterminer les propriétés en traction, parallèlement à la direction des fibres, des joncs unidirectionnels pultrudés constitués de composites plastiques renforcés de fibres continues.
Il s’applique aux joncs pultrudés dont les diamètres sont de préférence compris entre 3 mm et 20 mm.
La présente méthode convient aux composites plastiques renforcés de fibres continues de carbone ou de verre.
La présente méthode convient à tous les systèmes de matrices polymères renforcées de fibres unidirectionnelles de forme cylindrique.
La présente méthode n’est pas destinée à être utilisée pour soumettre à essai des éprouvettes telles que des tubes ou des fils déjà couverts par d’autres méthodes d’essai.

Ta evropski standard določa metodo za ugotavljanje nateznih lastnosti vlečenih enosmernih palic iz z neskončnim vlaknom ojačenih kompozitnih polimernih materialov v smeri, vzporedni smeri vlakna.
Uporablja se pri vlečenih palicah s priporočljivim premerom od 3 mm do 20 mm.
Ta metoda je primerna za uporabo pri z neskončnim vlaknom ojačenih kompozitnih polimernih materialih iz karbonskih vlaken in steklenih vlaken.
Ta metoda je primerna za uporabo pri sistemih iz polimerne matrice, ojačenih z enosmernimi vlakni cilindrične oblike.
Ta metoda ni namenjena za preskušanje vzorcev, kot so cevi ali preje, ki jih že zajemajo druge preskusne metode.
