Steel cord conveyor belts - Longitudinal traction test - Part 2: Measurement of tensile strength (ISO 7622-2:2022)

This document specifies a method for the determination of the tensile strength, in the longitudinal, of steel cords constituting the carcass of conveyor belts.
It applies exclusively to conveyor belts with a steel carcass.
NOTE      A method for the determination of elongation is specified in ISO 7622‑1.

Dieses Dokument legt ein Verfahren fest, um die Zugfestigkeit eines Stahlseilfördergurtes in Längsrichtung zu bestimmen.
Es wird ausschließlich bei Stahlseilfördergurten angewendet.
ANMERKUNG   Ein Verfahren zur Bestimmung der Dehnung ist in ISO 7622 1 festgelegt.

Le présent document spécifie une méthode pour la détermination de la résistance à la rupture, dans le sens longitudinal, des câbles d’acier constituant la carcasse d’une courroie transporteuse.
Il s’applique exclusivement aux courroies transporteuses à carcasse en acier.
NOTE         Une méthode pour la détermination de l’allongement est spécifiée dans l’ISO 7622‑1.

Standard ISO 7622-2:2015 določa metodo za določanje natezne trdnosti po vzdolžni osi jeklenih vložkov, ki sestavljajo trup trakov tračnih transporterjev.
Uporablja se izključno za trakove tračnih transporterjev z jeklenim trupom.
OPOMBA: Metoda za določanje raztezka je določena v standardu ISO 7622-1.

This document (EN ISO 7622-2:2022) has been prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 41 "Pulleys
and belts (including veebelts)" in collaboration with Technical Committee CEN/TC 188 “Conveyor belts”
the secretariat of which is held by SNV.
This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of an
identical text or by endorsement, at the latest by January 2023, and conflicting national standards shall
be withdrawn at the latest by January 2023.
Attention is drawn to the possibility that some of the elements of this document may be the subject of
patent rights. CEN shall not be held responsible for identifying any or all such patent rights.
This document supersedes EN ISO 7622-2:2015.
