Leather - Chemical, physical and mechanical and fastness tests - Sampling location (ISO 2418:2002)
ISO 2418:2002 specifies the location of a laboratory sample within a piece of leather and the method of labelling and marking the laboratory samples for future identification.
It is applicable to all types of leather derived from mammals irrespective of the tanning used.
It is not applicable to leathers derived from birds, fish or reptiles.

Diese Europäische Norm legt die Stelle der Probenahme von Prüfstücken innerhalb der Lederprobe fest und beschreibt die Beschilderung und die Kennzeichnung von Probestücken für zukünftige Identifizierung.
Sie ist für alle Lederarten anwendbar, sofern es sich um Säugetierleder handelt. Die Art der Gerbung ist unerheblich.
Sie ist nicht auf Fisch- und Reptilhäute oder auf Vogelleder anwendbar.
Cuir - Essais chimiques, physiques, mécaniques et de solidité - Emplacement de l'échantillonnage (ISO 2418:2002)
L'ISO 2418:2002 spécifie l'emplacement d'un échantillon pour laboratoire à prélever sur une pièce de cuir et la méthode d'étiquetage et de marquage des échantillons en vue de leur future identification.
Elle est applicable à tous les types de cuirs de mammifères, quel que soit le mode de tannage utilisé. Elle n'est pas applicable aux cuirs provenant d'oiseaux, de poissons ou de reptiles.
