Aerospace series - Electrical bonding - Technical specification

This document specifies the characteristics as well as the verification of bonding in on-board aircraft electrical systems.
They refer basically to requirements relating to the effect of lightning, return currents, electromagnetic interference, as well as to the accumulation of electrostatic charges and personnel shock hazard.
This standard states the maximum permissible resistance values which guarantee, according to the installation, good conductivity of the whole of the structure, of the whole installation and the bonding terminals; these values shall ensure correct operation of the systems.
The rules of installation are defined in EN 3197.

Dieses Dokument legt die Eigenschaften sowie die Verifizierung von Masseverbindungen in elektrischen Bordnetzen von Luftfahrzeugen fest.
Sie beziehen sich im Wesentlichen auf Anforderungen bezüglich der Auswirkungen von Blitzen, Rückströ-men und elektromagnetischen Störungen sowie auf die Ansammlung von elektrostatischen Ladungen und die Stromschlaggefahr für Personen.
Diese Norm gibt die höchsten zulässigen Widerstandswerte an, die, in Abhängigkeit von der Installation, eine gute Leitfähigkeit der Gesamtstruktur, der gesamten Installation und der Masseanschlussklemmen sicher-stellen; diese Werte müssen den ordnungsgemäßen Betrieb der Systeme sicherstellen.
Die Regeln für die Installation sind in EN 3197 festgelegt.

Le présent document spécifie les caractéristiques ainsi que les vérifications de métallisation dans les réseaux électriques à bord des aéronefs.
Ces caractéristiques et vérifications se rapportent essentiellement aux exigences relatives à l'effet de la foudre, aux retours de courants, aux brouillages électromagnétiques ainsi qu'à l'accumulation des charges électrostatiques et aux risques d’électrocution du personnel.
La présente norme indique les valeurs de résistance maximales admissibles qui doivent garantir suivant l'installation une bonne conductibilité de l'ensemble de la structure, de l'ensemble de l'installation et des bornes de raccordement à la masse ; ces valeurs doivent permettre d'assurer le bon fonctionnement des systèmes.
Les règles d'installation sont définies dans l'EN 3197.

Ta dokument določa značilnosti in preverjanje vezave električnih sistemov na krovu letala. V osnovi se navezujejo na zahteve v zvezi z učinkom strele, povratnim tokom, elektromagnetnimi motnjami ter kopičenjem elektrostatičnega naboja in nevarnostjo električnega udara za osebje. Ta standard navaja največje dovoljene vrednosti upornosti, ki v skladu z inštalacijo jamčijo dobro prevodnost celotne konstrukcije, celotne inštalacije in sponk; te vrednosti morajo zagotoviti pravilno delovanje sistemov. Pravila za vgradnjo so določena v standardu EN 3197.

of Europe - Standardization (ASD-STAN).
After enquiries and votes carried out in accordance with the rules of this Association, this Standard has
received the approval of the National Associations and the Official Services of the member countries of
ASD, prior to its presentation to CEN.
This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of an
identical text or by endorsement, at the latest by February 2020, and conflicting national standards shall
be withdrawn at the latest by February 2020.
