Resilient floor coverings - Semi-flexible/vinylcomposition (VCT) poly(vinyl chloride) floor tiles - Specification (ISO 10595:2010)

ISO 10595:2010 specifies the characteristics of semi-flexible/vinyl composition floor tiles based on poly(vinyl chloride) (PVC) binder and supplied in tile form. Products may contain a transparent, non-PVC factory finish.
To encourage the consumer to make an informed choice, ISO 10595:2010 includes a classification system (see ISO 10874) based on the intensity of use, which shows where these floor coverings give satisfactory service. It also specifies requirements for marking

Diese Internationale Norm legt die Eigenschaften von halbflexiblen Vinyl-Bodenplatten auf Basis von Polyvinylchlorid (PVC) als Bindemittel fest, die in Plattenform geliefert werden. Die Produkte können eine transparente, nicht aus PVC bestehende Oberflächenausführung enthalten. Um den Verbraucher bei seiner Auswahl zu unterstützen, enthält diese Internationale Norm ein Klassifizierungssystem (siehe ISO 10874) auf Basis der Nutzungsintensität, das zeigt, wo für diese Bodenbeläge ein zufriedenstellender Nutzen möglich ist. Die Norm legt auch die Anforderungen zur Kennzeichnung fest.

L'ISO 10595:2010 spécifie les caractéristiques des carreaux semi-flexibles/vinyle à base de liant en polychlorure de vinyle (PVC) fournis sous forme de dalles. Les produits peuvent contenir un enduit d'usine transparent et sans PVC.
Pour aider le consommateur à faire un choix éclairé, l'ISO 10595:2010 inclut un système de classification (voir l'ISO 10874) basé sur l'intensité d'utilisation, qui indique pour quelles applications ces revêtements de sol se révèlent satisfaisants. Elle spécifie également les exigences relatives au marquage.

Elastične talne obloge - Delno upogibljive talne plošče iz PVC - Specifikacija (ISO 10595:2010)

Ta mednarodni standard določa značilnosti delno upogibljivih talnih plošč iz PVC na osnovi polivinilkloridnega veziva, ki so na voljo obliki plošč.  Talne obloge imajo lahko transparenten tovarniško pripravljen zaključni sloj, ki ni iz PVC. Da bi ta standard potrošnike spodbujal k sprejemanju utemeljenih odločitev, vsebuje sistem razvrščanja na podlagi intenzivnosti uporabe, ki kaže, kje bi se te talne obloge lahko zadovoljivo uporabljale.  Vključuje tudi zahteve za označevanje.

The text of ISO 10595:2010 has been prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 219 “Floor coverings” of the
International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and has been taken over as EN ISO 10595:2012 by
Technical Committee CEN/TC 134 “Resilient, textile and laminate floor coverings” the secretariat of which is
held by BSI.
This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of an identical
text or by endorsement, at the latest by August 2012, and conflicting national standards shall be withdrawn at
the latest by August 2012.
Attention is drawn to the possibility that some of the elements of this document may be the subject of patent
rights. CEN [and/or CENELEC] shall not be held responsible for identifying any or all such patent rights.
