Standard EN-IEC 55036 določa mejne vrednosti za merilno razdaljo 3 m in merilne metode, ki so namenjene zagotavljanju zaščite zunanjih sprejemnikov (na razdalji 10 m) v frekvenčnem območju od 150 kHz do 30 MHz pri uporabi v bivalnem okolju.Ta dokument se uporablja za emisijo elektromagnetne energije, ki bi lahko povzročila motnje pri sprejemanju radijskih signalov in ki jo oddajajo električna in hibridna električna vozila z notranjim pogonskim akumulatorjem (glej točki 3.2 in 3.3), ko se uporabljajo na cesti.Ta dokument se uporablja za vozila z napetostjo pogonskega akumulatorja med 100 V in 1000 V.
